Great location and nice outside area. However, we were disappointed as the heaters in outdoor area not fully functioning. Long delay with ordered food. We happened to be there at time of six Nations game and difficult to have a conversation over TV commentary

Everything is wonderful. The best menu for me is gnocchi. And desserts are very special and unique.

Decent place for drinks. Great outdoor space in winter as is heated and brilliant in summer. Indoors has board games and different seating units around so it never gets too noisy or crowded.

Fantastic garden, come here relatively often.I'll be brutally honest, the prices on the bottled drinks are too high.Whoever is making the battered cod isn't doing it well, the last two times I have ordered it, it was plain. If I'm going to be spending near 100 quid for two people and eatting plain food one more time I'm never coming back and that's a shame because this is my nearest pub."Young's beer battered cod" - 16 quid on the website from what I can see, I pay around the same price in central and taste is supremely better than here so you need to work on this please.I will come by in the new few days to try it again

We had the most delicious meal here today. Everything was cooked perfectly. Food was clearly very fresh and ingredients of a high quality. Cannot fault the place at all as staff were also very friendly and attentive. Portion sizes were very generous for the price also. Worth every penny! Will definitely be back again.

Came for a celebration dinner with a few friends, and we had a lovely experience. It was a Monday evening, so the Pub wasn’t too crowded. The staff was very kind and made a mocktails off-menu for a friend that doesn’t drink. Overall, a pleasant dinner experience.

We went to this pub for a quick pint. It has a great vibe, super nice staff and good choice of beer. I loved the spqcious garden with lovely arranged tables. Very family friendly too.

A great traditional pub on the edge of the Common. Good food and an impressive range of beers, with craft keg and a couple of cask ales. Really recommended.

We really liked this pub. It was one of the first places I visited sonce the lockdown.Service was great and food was good. Presentation was a 10, but flavours were a bit simple, yet fresh.Wine options were good. Just a bit overpriced.We felt saved and the pub took all necessary precautions.

This is the second time I've been back to The Green Man for the Sunday roast and it doesn't disappoint. It may belong to a chain of pubs but the food is still tasty. We both had the pork belly which was good, the roast potatoes were a little on the soft side rather than crispy, and then Yorkshire was probably a tad too crispy! But overall as a pub Sunday lunch definitely worth a visit and the lovely staff who served us will give you more gravy if you ask :) such a nice covered outdoor area for rainy weather but was glorious sunshine on our visit!
