We had a large group of 16. Service from the start was terrible and hostile, could tell the staff were focused on serving smaller tables. At multiple times when I ordered a beer, I was met with a sarcastic 'You know this is a wine bar?' from the long white haired waiter.2 Hours later... and all we have had as a group is the starter - either some raw lamb or fried cauliflower on a plate. The main was a steak on a plate, with 2 small bowls of fries to share between 8!We had another booking at a bar so had to leave as desert came out, almost 3 hours after our arrival. This was a scoop of cream frache with a crumb of digestive on top... Not at all worth £40 a head.To make this worse, when I asked to rightfully remove the service charge the staff acted as if they didn't know how to and essentially refused. This is something I still want refunded, and I'm astounded that service can be so poor and 'Discretionary' Service charge refused to be removed...

Great service on a fully booked night (lots of tables very little space) still got a seat, thanks to great staff. Selection of wines where good, I think a slightly higher price higher quality, but same layout of wines, would be a great addition for tasting menu. Small groups, split levelled, very small outside area. Cosy four people place with interesting wines. Book in advance for weekends. 5 stars for not down grading the overall rating but 4 stars compared to other experiences of the same nature at high end bars. Think Cosy four people place late 20s+ with trendy wines.

Average food but atrocious service from the host. Arrived 20 mins late because of unanticipated London traffic/road accident (rang in advance to let them know out of courtesy) yet told to eat quickly on arrival and then given a 15 minute "eat up and leave" ultermatum despite not having finished a single course. Unbelievable! There were empty tables galore! Were there a next time (not that there will be) just ask me to leave on arrival please .....

A really wonderful spot. Excellent wines and food. I Couldn’t recommend it enough. The Monday promotion was excellent. I’ll 100% be back.

Our favourite place for a glass of wine in Battersea. Always amazing service, ambience and delicious wines!! The butchers board and Sunday roasts are also favourites of ours.

Beautiful interior with a lovely vibe and an excellent, friendly waitress who really knew her stuff. The food and wine were some of the best I've had in a long time and presented beautifully!

The service was great. Wine was delicious. The food was slightly colder than I would have liked. But it still tasted brill!

Cosy and intimate location in the heart of Battersea rise. We were served by a remarkably welcoming and friendly staff and were offered some starters to make up for the long waiting time for our order. Quite satisfied with out wine , food was great - my octopus was really delish. Meat also tasted fresh. All plates have a touch of creativity with an interesting choice of sides, seasoning and sauces. We all took one small dish (+bread) and were quite full with some nibbles too. Price reasonable too, only wine sounded a bit too expensive. Also not nice to see I need to pay more than double price when drinking in Vs take away. I know must be pretty standard but definitely prefer not to know ;) overall recommended for a local and quiet dinner!

We had a wonderful Friday evening here looked after by Lara and her attentive team. There is an extensive selection of wines, knowledgeable staff and delicious small/large plates to accompany your drinks. Lots of options for vegans and vegetarians and there are sharing platters which also looked very appetising.I highly recommend for a pre-dinner/aperitivo spot, date night or for a causal meet up with friends. It can get busy (speaks for itself) so friendly heads up that booking is advisable :)Thanks again for a lovely evening!

Absolutely lovely wine bar with really personable service. I came here for a wine tasting and the staff’s knowledge and enthusiasm was amazing - we learnt so much. Beautiful wine, and will be coming back to try the food too!
