Had a birthday party here for my girlfriend. The food, the ambience and staff were all top notch! Can't imagine a better time anywhere else. Everyone there was so helpful and made changes to the food even when they didn't have to. This place is a must for get togethers and the food is sublime - always fresh and on time! Highly recommend it!

Authentic tasty Sri Lankan food. The owner was so nice to let me try something which I have never tasted before and allowed me to even explore the other options of the menu. For spice, please check the Jaffna special curries, its really amazing

Food is amazing and out of this world. A mini Sri Lanka in tooting. Great staff. Friendly service. Manager, Gajan is brilliant and efficient. Very fast paced and organised. 10/10! Will be coming again and again.

New look Jaffna House is definitely more visually appealing. But sadly it has come at the cost of new management and the food has been tapered to an average palette, rather than the rich spicy flavours that once it had.Really disappointed with what I have experienced, and I did try twice to see if the cook was having a bad day but alas it's so bad that I would not recommend it if you want authentic south Indian food. Also the prices have inflated - but for what? Ambience? They of course could fix this simply by making better flavoured food - using the right ingredients. FYI - I was born in South India and this would not survive there.

I'm not sure what all the positive reviews are I honestly thought the food here was awful! We ordered chilli paneer, butter chicken, string hoppers and masala dosa. The butter chicken was horrendous. Hard rubbery grilled chicken covered in sauce thats unrecognisable as butter chicken sauce. The chilli paneer was a load of onions with odd pieces of tiny paneer you had to root for. We sent it back and the second serving resembled the dish a lot more. The string hoppers were all clogged into one ball. The only decent item we ordered was the masala dosa. The portion sizes were also ridiculous for the price. 6 pieces of chicken in the 'butter chicken' that costs £6.50. I give it one star because the waiting staff were understanding and helpful.

Nice cosy genuine Sri Lankan food on Tooting high street. The interiors are basic but nice and bright. The menu has all the variety you would want and the food tastes fine. Portions are generous, prices are light on the pocket. The service is excellent and the staff happy to help you navigate through puttu, kothu and adiyappam.

Absolutely amazing! The place is beautiful and staffs are super friendly “TAMIL” and manager “GAJAN“ were the best staffs ever seen. they’ve worked as a awesome team and the food was delicious. I love that you get a lot of food as well for the price. It’s definitely not like other expensive restaurants and you only get a small amount of food. I am definitely going back. Amaazing food! For me whole experience took me back to childhood. The whole experience from start to finish is great waitress “TAMIL” and “GAJAN” is always so friendly and kind. The food can’t get better and the prices are fair for the portion size. Always a great spot to get great food.Basically The food at is exceptional! Very tasty and well prepared and you can chose among many menu options. I love the service at the place and the chef is so friendly with the guests and always takes care to offer the best quality! I highly recommend this place.

The curries are absolutely delicious! Best ones that I have eaten for a while. Flavors are perfect but dishes slightly too oily, and they are not as cheap as the menu would first make it look like since the curry portions are so small that you need at least two or three of them to have a satisfying meal. The service is nice, restaurant atmosphere pleasant but the very best thing is their art of mastering the seasoning of the dishes.

Great food, kind service, I'm so full. Would have stopped eating far earlier except it tasted so good. Kothu and jaffna curry were the best ones. All so tasty though, will come again

Very very disappointing. Extremely slow and chaotic service. Microwaved mutton rolls and roti. Forgot to serve Chicken 65 starter. Horrible mutton biriyani. Will never return
