Proper French restaurant with French staff. Nice to get something authentic.I had the duck confit with potatoes. Buttery, garlicky, flavoursome food. Perfect crisp skin on the duck, melt in the mouth meat and falling off the bone. Deliceux, bon appetit!

Our local restaurant. Proper French food, perfectly cooked. The owner is a great guy with a cracking sense of humour. We love it!

Thank you for another lovely evening! Me and my house mate have been going to Le Pot for the last couple of years and absolutely love the restaurant and ambience that the owner and staff bring. Fantastic food that leaves you wanting more - we always end up having 3 courses. Try the duck confit for main it’s delicious.

Due to COVID regulations we had to sit outside on the pavement, which meant sitting by a busy road and no heaters, although they did have blankets. The food was lovely and we enjoyed it, however service was a little slow. Maybe would return when we are able to sit indoors but wasn’t blown away.

Lovely staff and very good French cuisine

Good French restaurant, serving a few classic mid range dishes bistro style. The food is good, decoration is also quite typical. Service is quite slow, so don't be in a rush. They don't have kids options, so make sure you bring something! Wine list is ok, they have 4 wines available by the glass, and you can also order a "pot" of wine, which is very typical from Lyon.

Having lived on the same street for nearly three years I would frequently see the owner smoking outside, I was always curious how a place of such a substantial size could survive on such a quiet street. A lot of the time there'd be no one dining in there and it appeared to be relatively quiet even at busy times. On the day of my move further afield it only seemed appropriate that I try out their breakfast with a friend. We were greeted by a rather lugubrious looking owner who seemed concerned that the kitchen wouldn't be open for a further five minutes. I figured I'd still place the order I was promptly told we'd still have to wait. While all of this made sense it wasn't conducive for a comfortable introduction. The breakfast itself was well presented yet there must have been a ration on both the beans and mushrooms that day. It was a great shame as the mushrooms were really flavourful and well seasoned. The standout component on the plate were the hash browns, quite possibly the best I've ever tried, the potato appeared to have been very thinly sliced and diced, the texture was perfect, crispy out the outside and perfectly cooked on the inside. It feels like this could be a thriving neighborhood restaurant but perhaps it's as much to do with the area than anything else, the land that time forgot, a thoroughfare between Vauxhall and Clapham Common. So there lies the beauty , a time capsule of sorts, plodding along regardless.More mushrooms next time please

Food is nice but fairly simple and expensive... that’s a £20 main so portion are on the small size while price is on the big one. not a lot of spécialité Lyonnaise on the menu with is a little let down: where is le tablier de sapeur? All in all cute place and pleasant staff.
