Arrive early at the weekend and enjoy that comfort food. Chairs could be more comfortable but shouldn’t stop you from going….

Consistently delicious brunch here. Have eaten many times and never had a bad meal. Very friendly and lovely staff, very accommodating even when we bring a pram and baby.My favourite is the mud muffin, and my wife has recently been having the plantain Benedict which she says is sublime. In summer the garden at the back is lovely.

It's ok.Ngl, don't get the hype.I had the mud muffin, which is basically, eggs, sausage and bacon in a muffin. Beans, waffles and a pickle, yes a pickle, was on the outside. The food was cooked well. I asked for crispy bacon and I got crispy bacon, however the beans were not hot, not even warm and not exactly fridge cold. The main ingredients are ok, however spotting that the muffin was from a Tesco's packet was a bit disheartening. I wondered about the bacon, waffles and gherkin??? The only thing I was sure was legit is the Harcourt Beans, the flat sausage and the eggs. For 12 quid,I expected a bit more authenticity.Service is good as it was very, very busy there and the servers were as attentive as they could've been considering the crowd. The food took a while to arrive, but I'd put that down to the business in there.Like I said I don't get the hype.As an alternative bougie breakfast it's cool, but it's more of a place to show off to friends and relatives of how bougie you are. When leaving i did notice that it smelt like a typical cafe. Oil and then smell of fried food hung about the front door. The breakfast menu is served up until 3pm, which is a def bonus. For me "it's a been there done that"But don't let me put you off, go see for yourself.

It's a lovely little place for brunch on a Sunday. The food is tasty, filling and appealing to the eye. It is always relatively busy when I've been there, and the food is always very prompt with the staff being very friendly and attentative. The one thing that could be improved is the garden at the back could have a bit more greenery and made to look a bit nicer.

Food is fantastic!!!! , and the front of house staff lack attention to detail when it comes to service, for example, I order the mud muffin a nd they sent it out on a metal try, that was bent, and impossible to eat off when I asked if I could get it on a plate instead, the waiter gave me attitude and basically just gave a plate!!!,.... Instead of just taking it back to the kitchen,... Poor show in my book.

Beats all the other brunch places around this part of London!Very good, friendly service and fresh ingredients. Interior is very woody, rustic, natural with lots of light. We ordered an avocado on toast and the pancakes with coffee and a green smoothie. They had a good selection of drinks. Avocado on toast was very fresh with salad on top. Pancakes had great consistency and good toppings. Smoothie was good too. Came in a cute hipster glass.Very good value for money. An absolute hidden gem. I recommend stopping here for brunch!

Great food and a good amount for the price in comparison to Juliets down the road which charge similar if not more but present you with one piece of bread. The chilli jam is yummy and the bacon and salmon were good quality. The only reason I'm giving 4 stars is because they didn't have any pancakes on the day or any plantain for the plantain croquettes, both of which we planned to order. I mean you could literally walk down the road in tooting and get plantain so I didn't understand why??

Good food but poor service. We went to Mud with high expectations based on other photos I’ve seen on Google. The food delivered, to an extent. I ordered the eggs benny and swapped out my salmon for bacon. They also then missed the croquettas from my plate with no explanation. I also prefer a warm hollandaise and this one was overly peppery and served cold. The mushrooms were tasty, so that was a win.The service was just not great - everything we ordered we then were later told they had run out. I can live with that but would be great if this was communicated upfront. We were given glasses but had to ask for water. We had to ask for cutlery and then ask for napkins. The waitress wasn’t very attentive and the place wasn’t that busy. Will give it another go though, maybe they were just having an off day.
