Rodizio Preto in Wandsworth

Preto is always a good deal. For 25£ you can get all the delicious meat you want and you can choose all the sides listed in the menu. The restaurant in Putney had a great staff. Recommended.

Sorry to say this place has lost its appeal. I've been going here for years and the quality of the food has gone downhill. Where do I start......you can no longer help yourself to buffet style side dishes which is a big disappointment. The new system leaves you waiting on overstretched staff to take your refill orders. Also you are unable to order a very small portion ( as you may not like what is presented) so this results in a huge waste of food. The salad was rank!! About two weeks old, brown lettuce, rotten tomatoes and white coloured (obviously rotten) sweetcorn. The other sides we ordered were not much better (beans and potatoes beef syew) the only things worth eating was the fresh greens, chips, and plain rice. 10% service is automatically added to your bill, which I disagree with. I'd have much preferred to give my waiter/ staff a tip directly, so in the end never tipped, as I felt I would have been paying twice. Which shafts the staff, as they have no incentive to give a great service.

Been coming here since it first opened and has never failed to please.Staff are great and they kept replenishing the cucumber for my addict daughters lol.Always recommend. Cheers!

Our favourite part of this meal were the sides provided in the all-inclusive menu. The stroganoff and the sweet potatoes were quite tasty. However, this experience was disappointing because we paid prime dollar for quality meats. Unfortunately, the meats served to us were simply not enjoyable. Though the staff were friendly, the individual bringing the meat around was not clear or loud enough to hear what type of meat he was offering us- at one point he was even unsure which meat this was. The restaurant only had about 3 other parties present and he still wasn’t loud enough for us to hear him.The meats themselves were quite tough, chewy, BURNT, and lacking in taste. Additionally, the sauces that accompanied the meats were not very compllimentary to the meat nor were they tasty at all. They simply overpowered them and left a sharp stinging taste in your mouth. One meat that was acceptable was the garlic steak.I don’t think this was worth £25 at all, the quality of meat certainly needs to be increased to match the price level the restaurant expects.

A great dinner out. The waiter was very helpful and encouraging with our order. We were excited to try lots of the different small plates and the portion sizes were spot on for tasting. The meat that came around was often and you were able to try as much as you wanted. All the food was delicious, and the cocktails too. Will definitely be back with more people as this is a great social restaurant.

My husband and I have been here for lunch twice, with the second time being for our honeymoon. We love it! I reserved a table through OpenTable and informed them it was for our honeymoon and they decorated our table with these lovely hearts, as well as gave us a complimentary drink. This and their warm hospitality really added to our experience. The only issue I encountered was that the ham was too salty, but in our visit before that it was just right. Their food is delicious and I personally love their fresh juices (I've had the lemonade, and the pineapple and mint). Would definitely recommend!

I had been once before with a friend for a set lunch menu where the meal and the service were good. I decided to revisit on Thursday for lunch again; what a disappointment: ALL the meats served were dry, some were too dry (like the chicken thighs in the photo). I got the impression that all their meats were pre-cooked or partially cooked and at the service time they were simply given a final blast heat treatment. So disappointed. The service was still friendly, hence the 2 stars.

We absolutely LOVED this restaurant! Staff were amazing from the time we entered and all the way through, gave great recommendations as we had never been to Preto before and the food was delicious!!! We have already recommended it to lots of our friends and family and hope to be back again soon.

The food just keeps coming, great quality meats, first time I've been to a place likes this. The service was great, very friendly staff, loads of different cuts, types of meat. Price was very good for sort of unlimited buffet.

I have visited the place before the lockdown and the food was amazing. Today to be honest I was very disappointed, first two skewers were cold majority of the food was dry, without any seasoning simply plain, dry and chewy. Also in terms of the sides we have ordered twice the cheesy pastry and somehow the quantity varied - interesting... The chimichurri was way too oily on the other hand the vinegrette was spot on. I need to add as well that getting a hold on of waiters was very hard. To sum up the overall experience was dissapointing.Ps. One of the Passadors was delightful, very approachable and clearly worked hard. He provided good customer service. (Short curly hair)
