Th Grove Pub in Wandsworth

This pub is our local and we love it. We regularly come in for dinner and it’s just such a nice atmosphere. The staff are so lovely and treat us like locals now which we love too.The food is excellent, drinks great, staff fantastic. It’s a gem of a pub.

Great corner bar in the back streets of Balham. Deceptively large, with a big dining area towards the back, it still remains a cosy, welcoming pub. Plenty of big leather armchairs and sofas to choose from, and thankfully no tvs to spoil the relaxed atmosphere.Back after a few months and still love it. Making it my pub of choice to meet people from Clapham. Guinness very good, staff great

Recently had lunch here and it's just the same as it was when I lived in the area some 15 years ago, which is to say it's great! Such a lovely pub off the main road. Great food and beer selection, convenient parking in front of the pub towards Balham (metered) or behind (possibly free if you can find a space).

Incredible service, went in on saturday evening. No tables but sat outside under the heater which staff gave us hot water bottles to stay warm and comfortable. As soon as a table became available, staff came out and got us. Plant burger was amazing and will definitely be back. Thank you for an amazing evening.

Great pigs in blankets, which we took as starters with our drinks, followed by either roast chicken or sausages and mash, all of which we enjoyed. The sausages did have the odd gristly bit but this wasn't enough to spoil our lunch and the mash was excellent. Puddings were good too, although I would have preferred the crumble to have been hot not lukewarm. It's not a criticism of the venue, but strangely in Balham of all places, my mixed race family became an object of curiosity to some middle aged bloke dressed in his green quilted gilet and Jaeger scarf. I think we are a rarity in this pub.

Great staff and venue but very overpriced, not good value for money. Nearly £7 for a pint of beer and the portions are really small. BBQ Pork ribs was just 4 ribs and not sure they should be served on spring greens. Doesn't really go. I was expecting a full rack at that price.

Great pub with very friendly staff and good food - the chicken pie is superb and the quality of the starters was surprisingly high.Felt as though the staff went out of their way to help - would very much recommend.

Simply one of the best pubs to go to. Whether you want a roast, small plates or mains. The food is beautiful. Pints also have that lovely fresh taste.Cannot wait to see what the quiz is like but I know it’ll be great.

One of the best roasts we’ve ever had in a lovely British pub. The food was beautifully presented, delicious and a great range of options that caters for vegetarians, vegans and meat eaters. Staff were very attentive and friendly. Wonderful vibe and great decor. Will definitely recommend!
