Lovely trendy pub, was showing the football in the back room but we wouldn't have realised as it didn't intrude into the main pub. Highly recommended!

Quality drinking options, staff always lovely, great atmosphere, but those toilets need an upgrade.

Great cask beer and great food. Went here for dinner outside. The wild mushroom tortellini was divine! Definitely a great place to go for an outdoor pint or meal (and inside is fantastic).

Went here for a work Christmas party. Had an ambient vibe. Had the braised ox cheek which was so tender. And the accompanying horseradish sauce was nice. And the Christmas pudding was luxurious.

Wonderful meal last night provided by Patrick the manager for local seniors. The chef Peter put on a glorious display. It was excellent. Many thanks really set us up for Xmas

I agree with the other negative reviews. The meal I was served was literally cold.I went to the gents & discovered that the only basin was full of vomit with blood in it. Clearly that’s not the fault of the staff & the management. However it is their fault when it is left for over an hour.To top it off, a member of staff swore at me (the f word). There was no good reason for doing that. I complained to the manager who said that he would carry out a thorough review by referring to the CCTV. After a reasonable time lag, he stated that no conclusions could be drawn, which is amusing since he admitted that the CCTV had no audio. I guess retaining staff is more important than customers nowadays. So during this Xmas season, if you would like to visit a dark, impersonal pub & have a cold meal with a view of bloody vomit & staff swearing at you, please visit the Antelope & you will get all that.Dear Patrick,As a reply to your reply. You have clearly learnt from the politicians: "everything has changed & so everything is ok now." Unfortunately it's not. The Antelope ruined my evening. Secondly, since the Antelope is still owned by the same owners - Antic - who employed the previous people, with appalling standards, then it follows the new team will be just as bad.

Recently had a friend’s 50th birthday at The Antelope and had a fantastic time. We hired the dining space at the back of the pub and was perfect for what we wanted. Big thank you to all the staff for being so accommodating and helpful, Fleur was a super star! Thank you for a great evening, the new menu was really delicious too!

Huge space and drinks are reasonably priced. Wish they had more cocktail options, but its the perfect place for a beer

Held a 40th birthday party here and everyone had a fantastic time- the manager and staff couldn't have been more accommodating. We had the lovely bunting-and-fairy-lit back room to ourselves (there's another good function room upstairs too). It's a cracking pub, great for a party or casual drinks with a nice outdoor area and really good selection of drinks and craft/cask beers. The food went down a treat as well. Thanks Patrick and team!

Really good experience. Good value/quality of food and drinks. Quite a young crowd, lots of outdoor space - but get there early. Friendly service. Can get a bit sticky in the bar area.
