Visited today with a friend and had a wonderful time. The most beautiful and well taken care of place I’ve been to and amazing service, lovely atmosphere and friendly staff. Would like to mention James especially, who took the best care of us, was so warm and welcoming and made an incredible French Martini. Thank you James and the rest of the team. Can’t wait to come back again soon :)

Ignorant staff insist on drinking into the small hours of the morning on the rear terrace keeping me and my family awake most nights. I've complained to the noise complaint service and alcohol licensing board.

Had the best night here with my girls!!! James the host was incredible looking after us, the cocktails delicious, the food was so tasty and the music literally made the evening!! Will be returning as soon as I can!!

Went for a late drink on Saturday and I definetly enjoyed myself and need to come back earlier next time.. It was busy inside when I arrived but I still managed to get a table, and a cheeky bougie as the music was good and fun!! I will be back with a few more girlies, a bit earlier next time for another amazing evening!

Very disappointed with the food...the guy serving us, although bless him, was clearly hungover. The food was bland and the amount of hollandaise we received with our eggs Benedict was an absolute joke. The building is lovely and the restaurant has so much potential, but sadly the service and food let it down big time.

Visited recently with my mum who came to visit and really enjoyed the place. The team were so accommodating, seated us in a booth and recommended some great cocktails and food. Special mention to James who went above and beyond and made my mum feel comfortable and safe on her first visit out since lockdown. I am a local and will definitely be heading back soon with fiends :)

I've always loved this pub, the staff are fantastic and would give 10 stars if I could. Last weekend a man started following me down the street shouting obscenities at me after my dog growled at him. So I ducked into the pub to get away from him. Unfortunately he followed me in and started shouting the place down. The staff were amazing and bundled me off to the back of the pub and kept the man away from me. They were really professional, bought my pup some water and made sure I was ok and felt safe until my friend joined me. Thank you for being so great!!

Disappointing. We arrived early and pointed towards a table. Noone brought us a menu or drink for a good 10 mins. Eventually someone came over to see if we were okay got us some water and breakfast menus. We'd actually booked for Sunday lunch so when we asked for the lunch menu we were told it was to early to order lunch (it was 12:45).After waiting again, they took our order. They forgot my drink so I had to ask again. We ordered some bread and olives and 2 Sunday roasts. The bread wasn't worth the money - £5 for 5 small slices of focaccia. They couldn't have been more than 3cm x 8cm and toasted not soft as I'd expect with focaccia (See the picture).Roast we're good size and beautifully ccoked. They should have been really given that we were the first to order lunch and we had to wait about 45mins for it. Gravy was like water. As we left someone apologized for the service blaming 3 new members of staff and how busy they were... They didn't seem that busy (empty tables all around) and I think with some training and leadership they could be a good team.Sadly we won't be going back. Not after the service charge was automatically included.
