The Breakfast Club in Wandsworth

Food is good there which is why we continue returning. However service has clearly deteriorated, very slow and have to ask multiple times for everything. Also, it’s frustrating that Deliveroo orders have priority over dine-in guests (flow of delivery drivers is constant while all tables are waiting). Massive price hike on some items recently : £14 for 4 small pancakes with some cream, really?!

Food is always amazing here. Which is why we always return. Service I would rate a 1 star. I’ve been coming to this branch for over 10 years and the service is usually always so bad. Extremely slow so don’t make plans for after coming here and if you’ve driven make sure you’ve paid enough parking for your car for half a day. Yesterday, we had to get up to get someone to take our order, remind them of the hot chocolate we ordered half an hour prior. We received our food. Both had pancakes. Only one came with the maple syrup. We asked for the side of maple syrup for the pancakes which usually always comes with pancakes. The waitress we asked said nothing, walked away to never return. I asked another waiter and was very apologetic and grabbed it for us. I’d understand if they were so busy and it was a one off, but this always happens apart from two occasions of coming here. Then we had to go up to someone and ask for the bill. We regrettably paid the service charge. So if you’ve got all the time in the world and fancy some nice food, I’d highly recommend.

Service is ok. Sometimes hit and miss either by being efficient and friendly OR not acknowledging a customer whilst waiting and slow. It’s polite just to at least say hello, I’ll be with you shortly instead of constantly walking past customers. I go here often and I always used to be served by this blonde lady who had a condescending tone with underlying sarcasm. Used to make me anxious about being served and ordering. Been recently a few times and had better service and hope she’s left to be honest. It was my only downfall with this branch of TBC. I’m big on great customer service which it costs nothing to be polite and treat others how you wish to be treated. Needless to say food I’m happy with other than my beans always being lukewarm or cold. It’s obvious they warm them in the microwave and not cooked on the stove.I ordered The Veggie Monty

Food came wrong and took an hour to arrive. People that arrived marginally later than we did and had bigger orders had their food arrive much faster. Although it seems like there are plenty of staff, they mostly reside on the right side of the diner so the left gets minimal service. The only good things to mention are the milkshakes that we ordered, which tasted good and were quick to arrive, and the sanitary conditions of the place. If it were slightly less busy I may have rated higher but an hour wait for an incorrect and mediocre meal is unacceptable.

If you’re really hungry and around the area , The Breakfast Club is definitely the place to go. Fine, you’re likely to wait a little if you go at a busy time, but the wait is worth it! They make great vegan options too, and staff are really friendly (considering how busy it can get) Lovely service, tasty food and reasonably priced; 100% recommend.

Lots of great options and the portions are worth every penny 🙌🏻 the staff were lovely and gave us fast and pleasant service.

It’s been a while since I’ve been here but glad it’s still as good! We came here for brunch and got the pancakes with bacon and the banana and pecan French toast, both of which were epic! The pancakes were sweet enough without being too much and the portion size was just right. The French toast was light and of good thickness. My only criticism is that there wasn’t enough maple syrup on the pancakes but they brought me some extra when I asked. Waiting staff are also very friendly

Still very good (the full monty) but missed the original home fries with onions. Cherry tomatoes a little disappointing (small and not many) but everything else was a plus. I do like tea in a mug so another plus. A bit on the pricey side but bearable. Service was very good again so didn't mind the already added service charge.

Great place for a breakfast. Very busy on a Sunday. Book in advance. Pancakes are sooo good. Highly recommended.

Amazing breakfast and lunch and dinners are super scrumptious too. Great service and quick wait. Prices are very reasonable
