Great location for beautiful views over the river Thames for affordable drinks. On this occasion the food was well below standard/ off and staff were very slow/ half asleep.Very unlike a typical Wetherspoons.

·

Not many places in London where you can be by the river, get a tasty sirloin steak supper and two pints for less than £15... Don't knock it, head to The Rocket!

My first trip to a witherspoon for more than 10 years and I loved every minute of it.It was great to catch up with old friends, meet new friends and generally just hang out with the everydays...it was a good choice - The Rocket. The food was as good as I remembered, there was a variety of dishes on our table and I tried them all. I won't say I wasn't sick the following day, because I was.....the drinks flowed as well and no one complained about any holes in their pockets afterwards. I was particularly impressed by the fact that mostly everything from ordering to paying was done electronically without the fuss of servers getting our orders wrong etc.The surrounding area was picturesque though I believe I would've enjoyed it more had it been daytime.I would definitely recommend this spot and I'm looking forward to going there again...soon.

Very disappointing. Ordered a lasagne and all I got was a small piece of luke warm lasagne on a plate and nothing else. Fortunately the staff were polite enough to correct it. They did provide some chips after I complained but I was very surprised that the kitchen would deem that acceptable. The portion sizes are not like they used to be. Ordered some onion rings after as I was still hungry, and the order came out wrong too. Overall, very disappointing. I didn't expect much from a Wetherspoons but the overall experience and quality has almost reached rock bottom.

OK for a cheap drink, but as with most wetherspoons it always seems grubby, tables not cleaned, food left on the floor etc. The food isn't great, its rarely hot and not good quality, but get what you pay for I suppose. Service is slow at the bar, clearly want you to use the app to order, as all staff seem to be assigned to this service as opposed to serving at the bar. I miss the Railway Wetherspoons in Putney, it was run far better than this pub. The only saving grace for The Rocket is the location, I think that is the attraction for most customers.

·

Lovely place by the river, the view is amazing on sunny days. Plenty of comfy seats and great atmosphere all year round. Highly recommended.

Butter fried chicken had an odd taste. Maybe that's a personal opinion. Tables cleared but not cleaned. In this current climate the cleaning is so important. Most restaurants really upping their game. Sadly not here. Its a weatherspoons so you should know what to expect. Food very cheap in price if that's key for you.

Great location situated by the river with plenty of outdoor seating. The pub was very busy and there was a very rude member of staff who told us to sit down as we were in his way! He returned and said move, with no further comment. There was no free chairs and plenty of room for is tall, lanky and boney frame to get past. Food was good but marked down because of staff members unprofessional attitude and rudeness.

Great place too eat and drink. Lovely food. Cheap and cheerful. Would definitely recommend if you in the area.

Compared to other weatherspoons this one is a bit clunky to get around. Toilets were very messy. Whilst the sun is up you are able to sit by Thames River as it has a large outside bit, which is just lovely. My experience with the staff here was not good as the waiter slammed our drinks at the table multiple times. The pizza was alright quite tasty and my friends enjoyed their food too!
