Great pub with guaranteed heads. Could not recommend higher.

Came here early last Sunday evening for a drink and meeting with friends. Pub very busy with Sunday lunchers but found a lovely table upstairs only to be told they were closing that room in 30 minutes. Came back downstairs just before 6.30 and found a small table that was free and sat down. After 5 minutes a reserved sign was put down in the table and we were asked to move as there were people waiting for it. Hmmm….. I’d been waiting and the table wasn’t reserved when I sat down. Can you not just go into this pub and have a drink? There is nothing on the website that I can see that tells you that you need a reservation just to enter the premises. Not impressed. Won’t be coming back

Amazing roast lamb and great portions (unlike the roast beef). The roasted vegetables were also lovely. The apple crumble/custard was delicious. The staff were friendly and polite; service was excellent. The only reason I have not given 5 stars is because the Yorkshire puddings were rock hard. :(

***** Absolutely wonderful pub. We came in Saturday night for some food and was not disappointed. Amazing tasting food along with the flavoursome ale, made for a great evening. The staff were extremely friendly, polite and helpful. I had the pork cheeks with applewood croquettes, the steak with a delicious peppercorn sauce and a cracking desert. All in all, I would thoroughly recommend *****

Second time after a very long time..Food was very good, service was good also just one thing to point out, no need every ten min asking if we need anything else... A drink or desert.... Will be back soon loved the very very good atmosphere!!! Thank you for standing out from the other pubs around the area.

Great updated pub. You can book tables ahead which is great on a busy Saturday evening. Good menu. And a bookable function room upstairs. Some outside tables but right next to busy main road and tube station.

Sport on the screens but no sound. Food is good Sunday lunch was very good. It is a big place with a big back room and nice decor. A bit steep maybe but the beers are craft and I like that.

Terrific, what gorgeous venue! A big corner pub, right next to Tooting Beck underground station. Lovely bar at the front and then a more restaunty area behind plus eve. More going on upstairs. Staff are great, welcoming and helpful. All sorts of beer, wines and everything else you could hope for, on offer. A fine lively and happy crowd. Party time!
