"Holy Cow Battersea branch is Our flagship store opened in 2006. The shop is stone throw away from the beautiful Battersea Bridge and within close proximity to the Battersea Park, on the south bank of the River Thames and the Clapham Junction Overground station. Our opened planned kitchen gives you full insight of how our food is prepared. We have also been quoted by Evening Standard and the like as “London’s Best Takeaways”. We offer both delivery and takeaway service from our branches. You can order online or call the branch number to get your order delivered. To ensure your food are as good as when they left the kitchen when you are ready to tuck in, all our dishes are served steaming-hot into special stay-fresh packs."

I used to absolutely love the food here - consistently tasty. I then saw the food hygiene story reported locally and was gutted that it received a 0, but that was Sept 2020 and there doesn’t seem to be any updated score on the website. If everything is fixed I’d give it another try.

Best Chinese in Walthamstow, used to be my weekly routine when I was at WFC. So happy to be living in the area now and able to call it my regular.Portion sizes are absolutely massive for the cost, food has delicious flavouring, is never too oily, plain or too dry.You get free items when you spend over a certain amount, free delivery if you're close by!The very best thing is their lunchboxes which have half a main dish and rice, the amount given for the money is insane.I highly recommend and have never had to wait for over half an hour. I ask other reviewers to have a bit of patience, especially when it's such a small restaurant, it may be one person working in the kitchen. At least your food is being made fresh and not reheated and served in seconds.

Reading that delivery is most of the time late, I was pretty lucky: 20 mins wait. Food was good but needed a little bit more salt. Also, I know is chinese food but over 50% of the dish were onions. A bit of chicken with loads of onions. Portions though I must say are generous.

Good food but not worth the two hour wait.Quite rude service on the phone and refused to give a refund after we had waited an hour and a half. The beef chow mein could have done with more beef on it. The delivery driver went to the wrong address but was nice and apologetic when he finally got to us.

If I could give this place 0 stars, I would. My partner and I ordered a meal through Welcome's own website and were promised that our food would be delivered within 1 hour. After 1.5 hours it still hadn't arrived. We called the restaurant several times but no-one answered. We emailed the restaurant but received no response. There was no way for us to find out if the food was arriving at all, or whether the order had been ignored completely. At one point we wondered if it might be some sort of scam.Eventually we drove down to the restaurant to find out what was going on. This was coming up to 2 hours after the order had been made.We were told our food was 'next in line' to be delivered and they just had a backlog of orders that night which accounted for the delay. When we asked why they hadn't answered the phone, they said they were trying to be 'efficient' by concentrating on cooking rather than answering phone calls. When we asked for compensation we were told that wasn't possible. The service we received was absolutely appalling and the food we eventually ate over 2 hours after placing our order for delivery and having to go collect it ourselves was mediocre at best.Welcome restaurant successfully ruined our evening. We won't be returning and certainly won't be recommending this restaurant to anyone else. The staff were rude, disorganized, and utterly incompetent.

Amazing food, great special chow mein with variety of good quality meats in bigger chunks like beef, pork and chicken and prawns and vegetables. Other items on menu also tasty.Got free prawn crackers on every delivery.Delivery time usually between 45 mins - 1 hourOverall recommend

Awful service, waited over an hour, when we phoned up we were told that they couldn't tell us when the food would be ready because they were too busy....and it could take over an hour more...Children went to bed hungry as we couldn't wait for the food, never order from here. Then when I get to the takeaway they declare that I’m stressing them out because they are busy and have decided to cancel my order. Can not even to begin to say how awful their service is and definitely will never be using them again.

I always go there and for the years I have gone there food has been great. I always get sweet and sour chicken Hong Kong style with boiled rice or egg fried rice and it's perfect..... the prices are good compared to other. The owner is lovely and there provide a great variety or food. EXCELLENT!!!!! 5 STARS!!!!
