Very friendly staff serving good od food with a well stocked bar and comfortable beds.Excellent location to explore the borders of Scotland from and reasonably priced.There is a carpark with space for about 10 cars plus a disabled space.The decor is traditional, old but spotlessly clean, and there are lots of stairs and no lift but garden rooms are available....

Stopped 1 night en route and found Elaine very helpful and efficient...Would stop here again and apart from a quiet atmosphere, the hotel overall had a very welcoming experience and the Dinner and Breakfast were both, without going overboard, absolutely superb! Especially the pudds...

Clean, smart, comfortable hotel with very pleasant bed rooms and public rooms including a nice dining room and cosy bar. Good quality, well presented meals with excellent service from a kind, friendly, warm-hearted, efficient staff.

We stay every other year on our way up to the Highlands. Some one in our party has been going for decades. Our last stay a few weeks back was flawless as usual. We request the lower courtyard rooms because of the dog and they are always comfortable and clean. The foods really nice and the staff are lovely. Highly recommend.

Had a great time in Moffat as always. First time I've stayed at the annandale. Hotel is very clean and the Staff are fantastic.. Breakfast First class and evening meals. Stayed in room 104. ( no shower) but loved my stay highly recommended. Thank you Elaine and all your staff 👍👏👏

We were looked after by the general manager, Elaine. She was warm and welcoming. We had an excellent meal in the dining room and then a relaxing drink in the lounge. The hotel was full but complied at all times with coronavirus regulations. We had an ensuite room that was clean and comfortable. We will definitely book to stay here again.
