always happy when I go to get dinner and even more happy when I enjoy it at the end.

Fish and chips good but not excellent.Lasagne VERY stodgy with no meat or sauce to be found.Disappointing!

Nice Fish & Chips. Plenty of decent size chips, not hundreds of minnow chips you else where. Fish was of a decent size and had plenty of flavour. Will go here again.

OK. Portion size was a bit small, fish quite small for price and slightly too greasy. Shop looked clean, and easy to get parked. Staff were very pleasant and friendly.

Very efficient staff, reasonable prices and consistently great fish and chips. Try to avoid peak times though.

I recently moved back here... my home town. The Balmoral was a regular haunt of mine years ago... just a great family run Italian cafe. I returned today to buy some ice cream... it was just as good as ever I remember and I was served by two thoroughly pleasant lads. Just great!

This is a fantastic chip shop. The sausage suppers are to die for. It's good it is open to 9 at night as many others are closed. Highly recommended I think. Very friendly staff.

Staying in a b&b just around the corner, pleased we found this chip shop, enjoyed our meal, ice cream was a nice surprise treat, friendly staff, highly recommend

Went here as to decent and some excellent reviews. Bought a black pudding supper and was severely disapointed as the black pudding i think was weeks old and solid as a brick,.chips were ok. First and last visit!

One of the nicest haggis suppers I've had! Perfect end to a day spent driving up from Shropshire, hoping to treat myself to another one before heading back down the road!
