Burnside Tearooms in Dumfries & Galloway

Was passing through Sanquhar and stopped here for lunch. Great service and big portions of food,. Mac and cheese was delicious

Lovely and clean ,staff attentive, no soap for hand to wash with only if soap gets stolen why not put gell out side area.

Excellent scones, tea and coffee. Great customer service and clean toilets. Will need to go back to sample their lunch menu!

Cyclist friendly. Offered to store our bikes while we sat in. Also offered to refill out water bottles. Service was quick and friendly and the food was lovely. Excellent flat white coffee.

Hit my lowest ebb on the Southern Upland Way. 3 days of on-off rain, mainly on. Long distances, heavy pack & sodden clothes and boots. Needed somewhere to sit down & eat. What a find!! Gourmet burger, chips, smoky earl greys & mars bar cake. Hadn't washed/shaved/changed clothes for 6 days. Staff very friendly, polite and great place to spend time. Food & drink excellent. With a heavy heart had to leave & continue.

The shop, tearoom & garage were closed. There is a laundrette with 24hr. access reasonable prices which includes detergent.18kg. capacity ideal for large loads, like double quilt.

Great cafe/tearoom. Food is lovely and cakes and scones delicious. The wee petrol station shop is where we always get our cheese crisps, if you haven't tried them then you're in for a treat. 🐻🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🦄

Lovely place nice food good service excellent coffee, very nice special on the day we went, very good portion, would recommend this place to stopped if travelling or visit regularly if staying in Sanquhar.
