Cairnryan holiday park in Dumfries & Galloway

Quite caravan site due to covid no food being sold at present. Very close to both ferries to Ireland. Clean and friendly.

I stay here a few time throw out the year myself and my family loves going hope we can go and stay again

What a lovely caravan park the down fall for my visit was the private rental we hired from Elaine and john . We had gas turned off no hot water no heat no shower .. told there was a small gas leak in van . Couldn’t enjoy the break as cold and not able to use facilities.. on asking for a refund I have had nothin but lies from them it’s not their van we left cigarette stubs I don’t smoke ! Etc etc just excuses caravan is disgusting old bed sheets toaster didn’t work ! Really let’s the rest of the park down ! Iam now contacting trading standard s very dangerous putting money before lives messing with gas ! If there wasn’t a problem why keep turning it off and why such a bad smell that all the other residents could smell absolutely no excuse !!

A beautiful, peaceful location for all the family.You won't see better views than Cairnryan Caravan Park.Fantastic pub / plenty of entertainment on site and if you need anything at all, Dawn on reception knows everything about the park!

Everyone's friendly. My partner likes to fish whilst I walk with my friends and the dog.caravans have always been of good price and comfortable. Been last 2 years and carnt wait to get back.

This caravan park is a small friendly park it has a family run bar with a small swimming and a play area for kids, I would recommend this holiday park to anyone.

Just visited our new holiday home today what an amazing wee place with lovely neighbours and staff look forward to becoming a part of the community...

Booked into this site through Airbnb Into a private owner johns caravaneven though we understand the caravan is old there is no reason for stained carpets,stained dirty arms on the chairs windows that either don’t open or don’t close , underwear left under the seats ,riddled with cobwebs and spiders wet(which we cleaned ourselves), wet duvets due to the window being left wide open, holed duvets as the spare,pno mattress protectors with very stained Mattresses smelling of dog and couldn’t find the door key anywhere we would never ever ever stay on this site again definitely not for the price we paid for a caravan. My friends could not sleep in the bed and had to lay towels over the duvet. requires a deep and through clean.Since this we have stayed at 2 more Airbnb’s which has been absolutely lovely more spacious clean and faultless just out of this world compared to this caravan and the bonus is these where cheaper than the caravanWe booked this caravan for the end of our holiday as well but since we have complained on Airbnb and to the owner has basically called us liars and does not want us staying at his caravan again with less than 24 hours notice to find somewhere else and ruined our holiday.We received no refund and have been left with literally with a very very bad taste in our mouths.Stay away at all costs!!!

Lovely wee place, out the way of your usual busy caravan sites. Quiet and peaceful and away from the kids. Lovely wee pub, with staff who have friendly faces. Pool table and a small swimming pool. Ten minutes away from stranraer on bus. Great wee weekend away for a quiet night together. Caravans are lovely inside. Would definitely recommend.

Friendly atmosphere, helpful staff, great location for travel to Belfast N.Ireland, Ayr, Dumfries. Long walking in the evening sun with your loved ones, fun filled evening in the bar with fantastic entertainment
