Canton House in Dumfries & Galloway

Really tasty food, very good service and reasonable prices. On holiday in Kirkcudbright and decided to try Canton House, had 3 lots of meals whilst here (hasten to add we did stay for a month)! Really nice food, tasted fresh, great to have decent sized king prawns as opposed to some we have had in the past which claimed to be king prawns but were so small we struggled to find them! These were lovely. Would recommend the sweet and sour chicken as well and the chicken or prawn curry. Definitely coming back the next time we are here.

Very nice food. I've only been once while on holiday but it was recommended by a couple of locals and I really enjoyed it.

On holiday in Dumfries and Galloway, we needed a quick takeaway one night and discovered the Canton House in Kirkcubright was close. We ordered by phone, collected ten minutes later and couldn't fault any part of the set dinner for four. It was so good we went again before the end of the week. Recommended.

Very few places open on a Monday evening so ended up with a takeaway from here Very enjoyable Good value. Great food

Great place to come to for a Chinese, highly recommend!

Nice wee take away. We've used this place whenever we're in Kirkcudbright with our motorhome. It's not far to access from the Silver Craig campsite. The meals we got were very good, so we we're happy once again.

Foods not the nicest greasy noodles salt and pepper chips taste like metal might have something to do with it just being chilli powder flung over them Ordered 2x salt and pepper chicken only got 1, first and last time I'll be there

Excellent service and the food was brilliant. Big order was completed on time and still pipeing hot when we got it home.

Not a bad chinese, plenty of meat on the ribs and the sweet chilli crispy beef was lovely.

An unexceptional take a way but perfectly OK. Reasonable quantity of food of a good standard at a sensible price
