Central Cafe in Dumfries & Galloway

Awful and slow service, didn’t have anything we wanted to order and it was only 12pm! Overpriced for basic food, definitely wouldn’t go back.

Lovely Cafe, beautiful setting, relaxed atmosphere, comfortable chairs and sofas, delightful staff and a really perfect lunch menu. Spotless clean. Plenty of car parking spaces. I'd definitely recommend this cafe and will visit again.

A lunchtime disaster today. Ordered a panini with tuna sweetcorn, mayonnaise and salad. No mayonnaise. Tuna was bland. Poor quality.

The decor of this recently opened cafe is very welcoming: comfy sofas and big armchairs, with plenty of space between tables. Food was delicious, very fresh, big portions and not expensive. Coffee and scones are also highly recommended. The staff were very friendly, professional and keen to impress. Will definitely return.

How lovely was this little find. We visited a makers event (amazing art) and had a late lunch here. Really slow service - they weren't that busy? - but lovely food.

Outstanding facility in a beautiful setting. Crichton Central provides shared working space, meeting rooms, conference facility and an excellent cafe. Connectivity is superb and all equipment is state of the art. The Trust deserves an incredible amount of credit for the thought, planning and design which has gone into this project. This has to be one of the best co- working spaces in the country.
