We hadn't booked, just walked in and asked if they had a table. The waitress was really nice and made sure we were comfortable when she opened the window because it was such a hot day.The food was not only beautiful but absolutely delicious.Portpatrick is a beautiful little place and this restaurant is it's crowning glory. We had the fruit platter and patè to start. For mains we opted for the duck with beetroot purée and red wine jus, and the lamb breast with couscous with skin on fries. Absolutely beautifully cooked and so much flavour. When it came to dessert we weren't sure we'd manage one each, the waitress kindly offered two spoons so we accepted and had the poached caramel pear which was just absolutely wonderful.

The inside is very pleasant the starters and mains were excellent especially the baked hake to die for the staff maybe could do with a bit of training thumbs in bowls as it was served and bread used to move plates but over all a good night

Real shame about the Sunday menu. Was really looking forward to amazing seafood for lunch. I guess the boats don't go out on a Sunday because there were only 2 fish dishes on the menu and the jambalaya wasn't amazing when ordered. Looks amazing, though the taste didn't really match today (didn't taste very fresh, and the squid was like rubber). 3*s because the staff were great even though the food wasn't

Delightful late lunch from the special 2 or 3 course menu, but light bites menu also looked amazing. Food was very tasty, and well presented, with good portion size. Would recommend and will definitely return when next in the area.

This was our annual visit as part of our golf trip. Food was excellent as always. Service was great for a group of 15.Although the ownership has changed the waiting staff were retained.

I taken my mother and uncle to this place and the food is great and the staff are absolutely lovely very friendly towards the older people and the younger people as well we was there today if I could give them more star's I would have given them 10 easy

Nice restaurant, staff friendly and attentive. Both starters and main dishes were delicious and reasonably priced. Although not overly busy, we had a bit of a wait, but as we were not in any hurry it didn't bother us too much. Would recommend this restaurant.

No booking, as we were a last minute arrival for lunch, but they squeezed us In thankfully. A good selection of options across the menu. Two course and three course discount options available. Nice coffee afterwards too. Good prompt service. We'd definitely go back when we are in the area. Well worth a visit!

Great looking, delicious food!Pleasantly surprised. A few glitches in the service, but the taste bought me, so 5 star for the food, great value for money!

A fantastic restaurant, pleasant staff and fresh produce - I had a great meal here. I'd strongly recommend stopping here if you're in portpatrick - book ahead though as it can be busy.
