Craignelder Hotel in Dumfries & Galloway

Had a birthday meal with a friend here, it was delicious. The food was promptly served, hot and absolutely lovely.Compliments to the Chef. The staff were friendly, efficient and helpful.Another great night at the Craidnelder Hotel Restaurant 😊👍

Was happy enough with the rooms and food and hospitality from front of house but the room attendants were very unprofessional. Heard them speaking about guests in the corridor, including myself and it wasn't in a nice way.shame,as otherwise was good value for money.

Went for a meal with an old friend the staff were able to get a table for us at short noticeThe meal was well presented and very tasty the staff were attentive and pleasantThe whole meal was very reasonable and a good experience this was our first visit and it won't be the last

Went for Sunday lunch and was not disappointed it was absolutely beautiful. Would highly recommend.

Sunday lunch and as usual first class meal in great hotel staff's always very friendly & helpfull

Great room, very comfortable bed, very clean, lovely warm shower. The food was extremely good. Would highly recommend this place.

Great traditional homemade tasting food. Good service. Would recommend.

Had a great night out, the food and service were outstanding

A great steak dinner. Table staff were great, food was great, all customers were enjoying their dinner as I was. But the barman…a one-off: capable, hard working taken for granted. But personality is uniquely his; an asset to the hospitality trade with few equals!

Walked in, after having this place recommended to me by the guesthouse I was staying at. 5 mins later I am sat at a table ordering my food and drink. I’d ring first to book as I bet it gets very busy at times Food great, service great, what more can you ask for?
