Food in the restaurant was amazing. Well cooked and presented. Well worth a visit.

Great dog friendly place, would have been four stars if there was slightly more veggie choice. Lovely staff very helpful. Would recommend.

Had a lovely Sunday carvery on13 march. The dining room is bright and airy, the staff attentive and friendly. The best dessert I have had in a long time, thoroughly recommend.

Very basic rooms and clean .Staff very friendly and helpful.food very good plenty to choose on menu. Bar was only open at weekend bit disappointed

From the moment we arrived to the moment we left, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The room was absolutely spotless. Comfy bed, lovely and warm, pet friendly. The breakfast was spot on. The Christmas dinner was superb. The staff are absolutely amazing, so friendly and welcoming. We only live 20 miles away from this hotel and decided to stay here for a Christmas treat. Even though we stay close by we would definitely come and stay here again at a time other than Christmas, that's how much we enjoyed ourselves. Well done to all who work in the Crown.

Great Xmas night out with the girls from the Community Group. Lovely meal. We all thoroughly enjoyed it. Would totally recommend.

Terrible rooms dated, very hot and dirty, didn't sleep next to the kitchen extractor unable to open the windows because of the noise and smell coming from the extractor. Food very average tasted like warmed up ready meals.Put my comments to Booking.com, received a reply from the owner/manager who had a terrible attitude not once did she/he apologise for the problems we had when staying at The Crown Hotel. Please avoid at all costs.

We came in for lunch, and had a very nice sandwich and burger.However If you want to eat here in the evening I recommend you book, as when we walked into the EMPTY dining room at 5.45 on a Saturday afternoon, we were told by a member of staff that they were FULL!Even though there was room outside in the beer garden and no one in the dining room.I never understand why a restaurant would refuse a walk in when there is no one in. I'm sure they could of served us and we could be out before anyone else arrived.
