Stayed here for 3 nights, great location, food great. Staff very attentive and cheery. Only thing that let this hotel down was the bed. We had 2 single beds which they made into a large double for us, but the mattresses (especially the one on the right) had the springs coming through, very lumpy and uncomfortable, they need to spend a bit of money on renewal of these. It looked like a 40st elephant had slept in them the way they sunk in the middle. Also the bedside lights were awful, dark brown shades with dim cold bulbs, impossible to read! So look out for Room 2 folks! Apart from that enjoyed our stay, breakfast also lovely as well as the food for dinner. Been to Portpatrick lots of times and just love it.

Lovely hotel in a stunning location, extremely reasonably priced, ÂŁ45 for one night for two people with breakfast included. Would definitely stay again. Staff were very hospitable and obliging with any questions

Nice place to eat with a beautiful harbour view. We were very lucky to have a fantastic day here in Portpatrick with wall to wall sunshine and the meal in the conservatory at the front of the hotel was lovely. The staff (&locals) were very friendly which added to a great day. We were here in winter and managed to get a table easily but I imagine in the height of summer tables will be at a premium if you just want to walk in.

We didn't stay here we stayed at the sister hotel Torres Warren and because of no evening meals there we went to the Harbour House Hotel. The staff were so kind welcoming and friendly. The food was very good and an excellent sized portionsThe hotel was I a lovely location just by the sea. Well worth a visit

Great base for a 3 night stay. Fantastic location, friendly staff. Very good value for money (breakfast included in the price). We were in the Anglesea apartments, which were spacious self contained, two bedroom, shower room and large living / kitchen area flats just behind. Good local walks along the clifftops either side of this lovely harbour village.

Friendly hotel with decent facilities. We came with our dog and he was welcomed in to the bar area. We stayed on a B&B basis and the Scottish breakfast was cooked to order. Lovely produce well executed. Sausage for the dog. We also had a lovely evening meal which was average hotel price but good portions and again well executed. Staff very willing to help with a smile especially Kelsey. Thank you x

Upgraded to a 2 bedroom apartment when booking in for 2 nights. Lovely facilities and separate entrance next door to the main hotel. Well taken care of for breakfasts and evening meal in the hotel with table-service only under current restrictions.

Highly recommended. Nice clean cosy and modern bedroom with an amazing sea view. Staff were brilliant and the food was excellent. Can't wait to visit again.

Absolute dive !! Room was tiny like you were in a prison. The young lad who showed us to the room said are you sure you booked this room because it was so small ! He guessed we booked thru booking. Com because it doesn’t match the description so obviously had issues before. I asked manager if I could have a refund or upgrade and she said if booking.com agreed she would refund. Booking.com agreed but manager then refused ( she obviously thought money was more important than people’s health ).The young lad must of felt guilty because he offered us half price meal the next night. ( the manager went crazy when I told him this.. like it was a million pounds haha )We went for meal only to be told we were going to be stuck in another tiny room. I called manager again but this time a very large built scruffy guy started being very abuse saying I had complained about everything. I only complained about the room so he was obviously just throwing all his weight about.End of the day you get what you pay for and these people obviously need the dollar more than I do. It’s basically kids running the place and not a brain cell between the lot of them and absolutely no customer service skills but that didn’t surprise me really. It actually reminded me of a manky two star b&b in Blackpool even my drinks stuck to the table. We left and went to a five star establishment and they weren’t surprised when we told them!!On a positive tho portpatrick was absolutely beautiful but after discussing with the locals there are definitely better hotels.

Visited Portpatrick today and had a meal in here. The welcome was really nice and we were taken right away to a table. We were seated looking over the harbour, it was beautiful to eat and look out.We ordered a tea and a hot chocolate, the chocolate was amazing and the pot of tea did 5 cups. We had plenty of sugar and milk.Scampi and fish and chips we ordered to eat. The food came quite quick and looked really good. The fish was perfectly cooked the batter was crispy and beautiful. The chips was just enough, the tartare sauce was home made and it was really really good.Overall a great service and fantastic meal.
