Jade Garden in Dumfries & Galloway

Since getting new owners this place has gone uphill and is amazing. Finally got what we deserve here a decent Chinese takeaway and without having to travel to Sanquhar or dumfries Helpful friendly owners and good staff

Friendly staff, lovely food, I stay 30 minutes away, food still warm when I got home, boys love chicken balls in batter with gravy. Chicken cashew fried rice and chicken chow mien with skinny noodles recommended.🦋

I hate to write bad reviews I'd rather let the establishment know but honesty can not get over how bad this food was.Spare ribs in bbq were fatty and tough was more like salty oil sauce , char su in black bean was oily and salty too, Meat was chewy and fatty, crispy beef was like plastic, salt and chilli chips were just hot hot, no taste and soggy, honestly can not belive how bad the food was and I really don't know how they get any custom, total waste of £32 as it went in the bin.

It's the worst Chinese I've ever had it says on the menu that they use less oil tbh I would have hated getting one before they cut down using the amount previously. All the meat was fatty and taste wise was nothing like what you expect to get

The garlic chips are amazing, the other half loves the salt & chilli box. Sometimes it's a really long wait but worth it.

Nice take away, a bit pricey, but it's the only one in the area. Food is always good. Only once or twice has there been a long wait when it was busy. The food is always hot and tasty, it comes in sealed container, place is clean and well maintained. A nice treat when you can't be bothered cooking for your self one night. Will be back. I always phone my order in before going to get it. But walking in is fine as well.

Went last week for the first time since it's reopening. I had tried the previous week but the queue was out the door and I heard grumbling about the waiting time so I bailed out.Tried again last Thursday and the food was really really good and a huge improvement on the previous take-away at this site.. .. but...the waiting time was ridiculous. Ok it was busy but 45minutes is not really acceptable for people ordering on site. We will give it another try as the food really was that good but if we have another long wait it will be the last visit...so fingers crossed

We were staying nearby and hungry so we decided to try. It's a small clean place and we weren't expecting much being so remote. As others have said there was a wait but that seems to be because it is all fresh and also popular. I'd rather wait and have good quality good than rush for trash.The meal was awwsome, especially the salt and chilli chicken. Even the plain noodles were really tasty! If were ever back we will go here again. A local gem hidden away really well.The other reviews really don't so this place justice. Please, please give it a try!!

Ordered on the phone and went to collect an hour later. Waited a further hour only to find out that the order was never processed. Absolutely disorganised chaos. Front of house scruffy and unprofessional. Kitchen lost complete control of the orders. We walked out followed by three other people equally disgusted by the abysmal service. Can't comment on the food because we never got that far

Somebody waltzed off with my order, somehow, so they had to redo it for me. The waiting times since reopening can be crazy long when busy, but the food it absolutely top notch. Highly recomended but order early!
