Nice food. Friendly staff. Lovely warm fire. Toilets could do with a bit of a spruce up.

Amazing traditional pub, great beer, nice staff, especially attentive landlady and good food. It's a must to visit and support small business.

Always a great experience! Friendly and cosy with a roaring fire and really good food at a reasonable price. Great owner.

Basic pub group bit had a lovely Sunday Roast Beef Dinner. Had to book in advance and would recommend asking to eat in the restaurant rather than the bar, as the bar was cold and draughty.

Just out after having a 3 course meal. One of the best meals I have had in a very long time. Every dish was excellent. Definitely reccomend. Sandra was very welcoming, service was great and the chef is amazing. Must visit!

Nice enough pub, lovely recently improved beer garden with a good atmosphere. Not a huge selection of beers, and food was overpriced, but a great place to stop on the way back from the beach, or if you're passing through the area

Absolutely amazing food!Very nice country pub, we went for our last meal in Scotland before heading home the next morning. Staff are all lovely and friendly and the food was great and didnt have to wait long for drinks or the food considering they were busy at the time.BBQ pork meatballs and Halloumi starters both really nice but the main i ordered stole the show! My fiance had Beef Bourgigonn which she said was lovely while I had the shoulder of Lamb. It was beautiful and by far the best lamb I have ever had, the mint sauce was great too.All the food is locally sourced going off the menu and has that home made touch to it.Deffo going to visit again on our next trip to scotland even if we have to detour to get there.Great Pub, Great Staff, Great Food

A lovely lunch stop on our cycle along Sustrans Cycle Route 7. Sandra was really helpful particularly around my dairy intolerance. We had a lovely meal - great value too.
