A lovely spot. A modern but sympathetic building nestled in the Galloway countryside. Plenty of seating indoors and Adobe nice covered outdoor tables too. We had coffee, cake and freshly cooked waffles. All delicious and served by friendly and helpful staff.

Great wee place. Very organic feel. Lots of variety. Quite expensive but if you want natural ingredients and innovative ideas then you have to be prepared to pay for it to keep the business going.

·

Can be very busy but has good social distancing. Good stop for lunch with homemade soup and breads. Very clever system in the farm shop using mini trolleys to limit customer numbers. If only customers read the signs..... Not staff or Loch Arthur's fault. Well worth a visit and perfect for all ages

Been meaning to visit for a while and really glad we did. The food was first class. I can highly recommend the charcuterie platter, very tasty. The staff in the cafe and shop were very friendly and helpful and everything felt very covid safe. We'll definitely be back. Thanks for a lovely experience 😊

Lovely homemade food in the cafe and shop. Large cafe with well spaced tables so you are not too close to other people. Loads of cakes to try too. The farm shop is very well stocked with local goodies as well as things from further afield.

Food stopped early, would not serve scone with bit of cheese instead as kitchen was closed waited half hour for coffee and wrong order came so service poor. But the coffee and cake quality were very good. Need to up your game really

Second visit to this place. This time we took friends back. Huge selection of lunch options and cakes. Beautiful food and one of the nicest hot chocolates I have tasted. The shop is great and has some unique products. Worth a visit just for a few luxury dinner items. We went on a Friday and the fish van was there with some amazing salmon products. The shop also do laundry refills for those wanting to avoid plastic.

Lovely place. Very nice selection of cured meats and cheeses. Very nice café too. My soya cappuccino was great. The hubby had a giant slice of chocolate cake and absolutely loved it. We also bought some Scottish honey, which is delicious, and a delicate, home made lavender soap bar.

Wonderful food and a farm shop with great selection. Loved the huge refillable milk bottle

The quality of the food here is absolutely outstanding. A brilliant range of food and drink options for all, including children. There is a simple form to fill in for Covid-19 tracing purposes, plentiful space indoors plus a walled gazebo space outside too. If the weather is warm enough, there are plenty of benches and picnic benches to enjoy the well maintained grounds. Now, back to the food. You can really tell that a lot of thought and feeling has been put into the menu combinations - all of which are made/produced locally at the farm. We'll most definitely be back and would recommend a stop off if you're in the area. It's also well worth travelling for. Honestly, seriously...you must.
