Where is Lockard's Farm?

🏠 Lockerbie Rd, Dumfries DG1 3PF

"Friendly service, a stylish and informal setting and delicious food are just some of the things that make Lockards Farm in Dumfries a great place for an impromptu lunch, family meal, cosy dinner for two or drinks and sharer platters with friends. When it’s warm and sunny, dine alfresco in the beer garden, which has a fabulous pagoda with contemporary dining furniture. There’s a fun indoor play zone for pre-schoolers, and a fenced outdoor play area for older children. While they are crawling, sliding, and climbing the play tower, the adults can relax a little; perhaps over a pint of real ale, a craft beer or a nice glass of red wine. The bar has an extensive range of beers, wines and soft drinks. We are all about choice."

Came into the restaurant tonight to grab a meal with friends and thoroughly enjoyed our evening. Been in a few times before and as always it has been a pleasure. Our server Julia tonight was a lovely girl who looked after us and was quick to help. Food was excellent and would love to be back soon for another fab time

Restaurant nice and clean, friendly staff and nice atmosphere. Meals we ordered were very tasty and cooked as requested. The only reason did not give five stars because lime & pistachio cheesecake was tasteless, no sweetness at all, the only sweet ingredient on a plate was an ice cream.

Usually a lovely meal here but slightly disappointed tonight. Not sure if the waitress was new but seemed disinterested. Also the sundaes were really disappointing, asked for them with no whipped cream so got given half filled glasses! Restaurant wasn't busy so not sure what was up tonight. :(

Oh my goodness I only have positive things to say about my visit here. I was on my own as I work in Dumfries and travel in. Amy and her colleagues totally looked after me, sat me where I wouldn’t feel uncomfortable as I’m female on her own. Helped me with the menu and the service and food was top notch. Highly recommend this place and I will definitely be back.

Avoid at all costs. Food is mediocre at best. We were advised to book because they were busy however when we got there (half an hr later) there were only 3 tables occupied. There are more concerns which we will take up with head office. Definitely won't be back

Very enjoyable. Good varied menu, plenty of choice for vegetarians, reasonably priced and lovely staff. We had a lovely time and will be going again

Had Christmas day meal with wife ,son, daughter in law and her grandparents. Lockards was clean, tidy and observing safety protocol. Very busy, table great and partitions in place. Food excellent, and as ordered, staff pleasant and helpful. Only downside was it took nearly 3 hours to complete the meal. Perhaps they could have obtained extra staff, as one of the staff told us they had full compliment. Usually top notch for everything, Please try harder next Christmas for staff!

Great pub with a large selection of food and drink. We were greeted by a friendly elf - it was near Christmas- and shown to a table. The food was very enjoyable and the deserts amazing - I tried the dark chocolate cookies with cream and it was fantastic. My wife had the melt in the middle chocolate pudding with ice cream - also great!. All the staff were quick for service and very friendly Prices were very reasonable for what we had and the quality of the food was good. Recommended.

Tasty meals, great service, no long waits and grandchildren live the outdoors play area. Really enjoyed Papa's birthday dinner tonight. Delicious lamb shank, sirloin steak, chicken and fish and chips. Nice range of starters too with loaded nachos, prawn cocktail and garlic mushrooms, loved the sundaes, chocolate brownies and sticky toffee pudding for dessert. Thank you!!
