Took 3 grandsons up to mull of galloway light house. We had lunch at the cafe. It was really busy with a good choice on the menu. We all enjoyed it.

Nothing like the taste of freshly cooked food. Sandra as I think the proprietor is called has decked out her super cafe in biker paraphernalia including two full sized motorbikes and a proper drum kit.Like us though you probably came for the coffee and food. This place wont let you down. We had veg soup, bacon and lentil soup and a homemade cheese scone plus a fruit scone which was melt in the mouth delicious. The coffee machine makes very satisfying chugging and steaming noises as its carefully coaxed into brewing a fine cup of coffee. Mark's down for overall cleanliness but makes up for it with a welcoming and friendly vibe.

Lovely food, good service and very friendly. Sea food particularly good. One of us is vegan and the chef was able to cater for this. Quirky decor inside and a small outside area - dogs welcome too.

Beautifully presented lunch, friendly hardworking staff member. Oddest decor, could spend your entire visit looking and still miss something.

Stopped here after coming back from the lighthouse, coffee shop there was manic. You don't drive past it, definitely look out for it. Friendly service despite being short staffed thanks to pandemic. Sea Bass was brilliant served with a salad of seasonal fruit, very clever, got taste buds refreshed. Crisp skin and cooked to perfection. Saw chocolate cake being served which looked great. Coffee by the mug, not cups. Wish we were staying close enough to enjoy the Friday seafood platter. Highlight of our day trip, thank you Mariners.

Scottish breakfast was perfect! Definitely recommend making a stop at this place if you're passing by.

The best sandwich and salad (or was it dessert?) I've had in a long time . Lovely spot to stop while walking around the coast line.

Serves great fried breakfasts all day long with added atmosphere. What more could you want to go with that food than a massive collection of speedway meeting programs and a random collections of swords, daggers, humour, and memorabilia. Can also arrange fresh lobster if you call ahead.
