I only popped in for a drink and to look at the menu the staff were very pleasant and there was a nice log fire burning menu looked nice might pop back during my stay and try some of the food.

Only stayed one night. We were truly surprised at the hotel and our room. The bathroom was marvellous, a shower that showered all your bits at once. The bed was comfortable and large

Good food and lovely atmosphere. Great views over the Irish sea. On a clear day you can see Ireland

The best fish and chips I've ever had,ordered off the lightbite section but came away absolutely stuffed.

Room wasn't worth the price. The Douglas room we stayed in had the boiler for the entire building in a cupboard next to the bed so was noisy and far too warm. Cobwebs all over the ceiling and dust on the surfaces. Bath and shower a complete farce to use. For the one night we stayed we went down to the restaurant for some food, the guy who sat us could not of been nicer but our waitress was super rude and rolled her eyes at dietary questions we had regarding a couple of dishes - everything seemed so dramatic and a big deal to her so we didn't bother staying for food...great location but super overpriced, disorganised, noisy and some really rude staff.

We can't complain about the food it was lovely. The service was very slow and I think they forgot about our order. We did get offered a complimentary drink as way of an apology but the drinks never arrived we finished our main meal,paid and left.

Lovely food, tasty wine and fantastic views. Seafood platter and mussels (asked for as a main course) absolutely superb. Service speedy but a bit brash. Terrible espresso which was essentially a small filter coffee but otherwise a very pleasant lunch.

Amazing views, fantastic service! My partner booked the Mount Stewart Hotel for my birthday. From the first interactions with Jack and the staff, they could not have been more helpful. When we arrived, the views and the welcome were great. Room had fabulous sea views. We had dinner and drinks on the terrace and had a great time chatting to Diane the owner and some of the locals. Overall a great place, friendly, great food and service. Def recommend and we will be back.
