Murray Arms Restaurant in Dumfries & Galloway

Excellent food and service. Food was really fresh and full of flavour. Service was excellent and friendly.

Excellent food, very relaxing atmosphere, service was very friendly and helpful.

Excellent hotel! Such friendly and helpful staff! Wonderful stay, thank you!!

We stayed for four nights at the end of June to visit family in the village as we often do. We always look forward to arriving at the `in-place` for the hospitality, the lovely rooms and the food. Booked in again in October........ Alec Jones

A warm welcomeWonderful foodParticularly enjoyed having tasty vegetables with my mealThe beef was delicious and tenderAnd the restaurant space was roomy light welcoming and there was plenty of space between tables. One if the best pub meals I have had in Galloway💗Thank you

Lovely rooms big and clean. Good breakfasts and value for money. Very friendly owners.

Restaurant service was poor and the menu limited. The windows in our room didn't close, and the cups were dirty. Staff were friendly but wouldn't recommend at the price

Went for a bite to eat, nice and quiet, good variety of food, excellent customer service, staff really friendly, biggest bonus dog friendly. Open for lunch, early bird 5pm - 6pm and then dinner. Exceptional food and very good value, definitely going again!

Very welcoming staff. Comfortable and clean room. Food excellent, but could make more of the local produce they were serving. Also felt bar selection was quite poor too. Expected more local ales and whiskies than was available.

We stopped here on passing for coffee and a snack and were very pleased with the whole experience. Staff were friendly and chatty, very welcoming, and the food was high quality. We found the seating and decor to be fresh, clean and comfortable. Definitely worth a second visit.
