Lovely evening meal with my wife whilst on holiday. Booked it after reading review on here and TA, friendly staff, excellent food, nice beer, quiet and a chilled atmosphere.

Great place, wonderful staff. Dog friendly and we went twice while in the area. You sometimes need to book ahead to avoid disappointment. Check out the specials board !

Visit this place, a great idea for a family vacation, as well as a good time with friends!!! I recommend it!! Those who have not yet visited here-come for sure!!!

Booked on line yesterday after looking at menus online and on site. Went tonight and menus had changed today . Also thought all of menus shown in window were available very disappointed to find half of menus shown were only up to 5 pm.Dont think this was marked clearly enough on menu. Although food was lovely felt portion sizes were on small side for price.Had been looking forward to trying out the restaurant definitely an anticlimax.

What a fantastic find. Had 3 courses and coffees each one excellent and very tasty 😋The food exceptional and staff friendly helpful and attentive. Couldn’t fault a thing We’re retired and been having many staycation breaks and this is by far best meal we’ve had by a long shot Highly recommended *****

Wonderful lunch, venison with an amazing jus, also cod with scallop sauce amazing. Dog friendly and effervescent service. Great place to go for a 5 star meal.

Although everything was quite good I was disappointed with my burger.First the good part. Had crevettes and they seemed fresh and were very tasty. Best Marie Rose sauce I've ever tried. My partner's risotto was very good.On to my burger. It was very simple for the type of restaurant. Onion rings looked like supermarket frozen onion rings. Same with the bun. The way it was all put together was poor. Also, I believe that the restaurant shouldn't be offering any sauces in sachets. It does not match with the ambience of the restaurant. It's a very nice restaurant and I'd highly recommend it if you are in the area.

The food wasn't great and not enough staff for the amount of guests (although they were trying) - with all the social distancing, some background music would be good to create some atmosphere and avoid the deathly silence. Beer garden looked nice for a summer's day though.

Incredible restaurant! Toni and Callum made us feel so welcome and at home! The food was excellent, absolutely delicious! We'll be heading back down again just to visit here! We were even allowed our two big dogs in to chill whilst we ate/drank! Well done guys and thanks!!

FaultlessAn example of how a restaurant should beFriendly but not obsequious, informal and relaxed yet not familiar. The menu was seasonal and local with a decent variety of optionsThe service was prompt yet not hurried, efficient but not intrusiveThe food was well cooked and nicely presented, all in all a great time was had
