Another favourite eatery with an abundance of books to browse and buy. Delicious food with gluten free options. Fabulous cakes and wonderful atmosphere. Very friendly staff.

Wow wow wow!! This places was amazing!! Such a lovely quirky cafe/bookshop!! The choice of homemade and so tasty cakes was brilliant!! The drinks were lovely and the owner and staff………exceptional!!It will be a shame when the owner moves on but there is so much potential for anybody interested in taking it on. We had such a lovely afternoon coffee/hot chocolate and cake in there. Highly recommend!!

What a gorgeous place.Lovely staff and a very relaxed atmosphere.Coffee was extremely good and the cake range stupendous.I had a generous wedge of chocolate and violet cake which I didn’t want to come to the end of. Divine.The only disappointment was in myself that I thought it would be impolite to ‘sample’ about another 2 choices! Despite wanting to! 😁Highly recommended for a wee visit.

Super bookshop with excellent selection of female authors (Virago greens, The Women’s Press, Persephone etc). Café is great - fab menu and dogs allowed. Highly recommended.

Friendly staff and interesting food. The cakes are a highlight. Lots of books too. Cosy.

A lovely bookshop with a varied selection of secondhand and new books. Specialises in women's books. Integral to the bookshop is a cafe serving a good selection of lunch items at reasonable prices. Good presentation and good quality ingredients. Service was great. You could easily spend a lot of time in here on a rainy day.

I had such a great time in this beautiful book cafe. The place gets very busy and I was lucky to find a little corner table in their beautiful little pink garden. The food is really delicious and nutritious. I had their nourish bowl and everything was just perfect. Highly recommended!!!

Super cafe and book shop, well worth 5 stars from me. Even quite late in the day and loads of choices of cakes. I had cherry scone with jam and cream, there was a choice of four jams!! Nice Twinings Earl Grey tea and our own little area to sit, loved it!
