Saint Ninian's Tearoom in Dumfries & Galloway

Community run tearoom with very friendly staff. Good menu of soup, snacks and sandwiches. Great selection of cakes. Plenty parking available. Very happy with my visit.

Very delicious lunch after a long walk, though a tad slow. Lovely view over the harbour. Cakes excellent!

Venue very nice being new and modern with a great view out over the harbour. We waited a long time to be seated, and service was slow. Staff are volunteers, but were not very efficient although very pleasant. Food offerings average, although prices above average we felt.

Can't comment on anything but their take away cakes. Paid £4.50 for two, an almond biscuit thing and a cherry bakewell and quite frankly I wish I had tried them before I left as they were quite honestly two of the worst cakes I've ever eaten. Dry and hard and with out flavour. So disappointed ☹️

Great food, prices, friendly staff, dog friendly and lovely location. My chicken soup and sweet potato fries and scone after were delicious.Highly recommended to all.
