Solway Cafe in Dumfries & Galloway

Very clean and well presented cafe. The staff were very friendly and food was fantastic. We had fish, chips, battered sausage, chicken nuggets, beans and the Irish curry sauce. All was cooked perfectly, the curry sauce was especially nice.

Great service WITH exceptionally good fish/chips I'll travel 6miles for it.

Always enjoy a solway supper. Staff are so lovely as well.

Good friendly family cafe with wonderful food

Brilliant, non greasy, high quality food. The haggis and chips is my favourite from here. Sausages and fish are lovely as well. Staff are polite and food is cooked fresh to order. They've won awards and it's no wonder why. You can sit in or takeaway. Great food, nice atmosphere. Will be going again multiple times.

Lovely homely cafe to enjoy a bite to eat. Very covid safe. Run by family members.

Love it! Always delicious only thing is the batter can go a little soggy and stick to the paper if they cook it crispier it would be by far the best compared to the cafe royale

Stopped in on our way home from Newcastle for a bite to eat. Chips fab and the spicy curry sauce was amazing!

Lovely cafe for fish and chips. The best one in the time with the prices being reasonable. Food is amazing and the staff are very polite. You can also sit in or take away from here. Toilets are also available in the cafe.
