My husband and I booked for afternoon lunch today and were not disappointed. Staff were very friendly and attentive. Food was amazing and will certainly be back for an overnight stay. Well done to Stephen and his team.

Food was pretty good, wholesome and basic - nothing out of the ordinary. Staff were lovely. Room and bathroom were spacious but in need of a face-lift. Bathroom window came off its hinges when opened. Bed had a massive lump in the middle and sloped off to the sides - felt like you were rolling out of bed all night.

Wonderful steak pie.... huge chunks of tender steak, and I mean huge! Probably the best steak pie I've ever had... so Needless to say would recommend a visit just for that.

Lovely and extremely pleasant staff and the food was astounding, the atmosphere was great and the sizzling meals looked really tasty. There was also many vegan options.Sadly, I couldn’t stick around long enough to try out one of the delicious desserts, but I will definitely be returning soon!!!

The winner of the Channel 4 series 4 in a bed is certainly worth a visit. The menu may not be huge in choice, however it is certainly of good quality. With enough on offer to meet most needs. The staff take real pride in the venue and it shows with table service. Every effort has been made to ensure customers are safe despite the pandemic. All in all highly recommended.

We had a nice stay. Room was a good size and beds comfy. We missed the breakfast but they were able to bring toast, cereal and coffee to our room, which was nice. Staff is lovely, very accommodating with our late check in. Will stay again, thanks!

Really nicely decorated dining area and the 12oz sirloin was simply divine! Asked for medium (friend I was dining with doesn't like the look of bloody) but came as rare. Fine for me to eat but to somebody else might not have been acceptable. An enjoyable dining experience that I would be happy to repeat.
