We collected take away from here. It one of the better Chinese in stranraer. But the food is ok. A few things were not on the menu like king prawn with ginger.

The worst case of Lemon Chicken and fried rice I have ever had , wherever I have went I always got Lemon sauce with the chicken , here it was a few pieces of pineapple π and a small section of a piece of Lemon π to squeeze onto it , tasteless , Also got sweet and sour chicken it was slightly better but not a lot more so , also the prawn crackers were awefull to cap it all off.

Very poor experience. I went in as a solo diner around 6pm on Sat. 21 April 2018. The welcome was very lukewarm as it transpired that the staff were far too caught up in the arrangements for a 60th birthday meal. They were then extremely tactless when they showed me to my seat at a table for one jammed up against the birthday meal tables - absolutely clueless! The crispy beef that I ordered was tasteless and a very small portion. Overall a very poor experience and I will not be back.

BEST prawn crackers by far π...Would NOT recommend sweet and sour chicken or egg fried rice for that matter so dry! Tastes like it was cooked yesterday and re- heated ..The chow main is really though a long side with salt & pepper chips π

Was ok. BBQ ribs for starter were ok, but not great. Had a main of crispy chicken chili and garlic. It wasn't crispy. Would pay more and expect to see fresh cut chili in there somewhere, but suspect bulk catering supplies was used for the sauce.Price was ok for the food we had from the three course meal menu.My son had chicken fried rice from the kids menu and he enjoyed that. Service coped well with our party size of 8. Coffee was poor. My son and wife had ice-cream which was ok. My son loved his novelty ice cream container and is still playing with it.Certainly not the worst, but I would like to try the local competition before making a recommendation to settle on this place.

Just visiting from East coast. Pint of Best was really the best. Crispy noodles too crispy. Had similar dish at different Chinese and it wasn't that crispy it was actually chewable which here wasn't the case. Sauce tasteless. Not very welcoming atmosphere. I liked the schrimps and pint.

What a ghastly place. We went here after reading some reviews on Google but I have to say that I have not had such a bad meal in quite some time. It all started with the first impression when we entered the restaurant and didn't get a particularly warm welcome. We sat down and ordered the food. When it came is when things went down hill very quickly. We had ordered starters a d main course and we were surprised that the food arrived so quickly to be honest. My wife and myself had different dishes and the strange thing was that they tasted very similar (one was a sezchuan and the other in mandarin sauce). The hot and sour soup also had some disturbing similarities to the main dishes which was just frightening. The kids meals where presented in a cute way but clearly the pizza was a cheap pizza from the frozen section with some big standard fries. Nothing great but the kids ate it so that was ok. Both my wife and myself did not eat anything as even the egg fried rice was tasteless and without much flavour. When we were approached by the waitress the only comment was that Chinese here was cooked differently and probably not to our pallet. Nothing was offered and charged in full even though we did the have a y of the food. This definitely left a sour taste behind and for me sets a new standard in bad culinary experiences. I have travelled the world and have had chines in England, Wales, Scotland, different parts of the USA, Germany, France etc. And thus know the difference between interpretations of dishes around the world and also in the same country.I will go out on a limb and say that this was a packet sauce and definitely not home made. The basis must be the same across all dishes but at the very least the ones we had.
