Always friendly staff....most delicious ice cream served here to take out and enjoy the superb scenery around.

I didn't go there, or to any of the other places Google is asking me to review this afternoon. It gets really annoying. If you're going to pester people to review places, Google, you need to get better at tracking where they've actually been.

Great wee cafe. Lovely coffee, and their scones are delicious. Good choice of simple lunches. The sweet potato, red pepper and chilli soup is scrumptious.

Great friendly staff. Delicious ice cream and great coffee. We stayed at Kippford for a week and called here most days. If the weather is suitable it's idyllic to sit at the picnic benches looking across the water and enjoying your purchases from The Ark.

Visited The Ark today for ice cream, in beautiful Kippford. I would advise you avoid having it in a tub! Lovely ice cream (Cream of Galloway) - bought 2 today, but incredibly small scoop for the cost. It was a very small tub and the scoop hardly half filled it. Very disappointing and an expensive mistake! Have had a cone in the past, which was much more generous. Have had coffee here before and again these were very small in comparison to other establishments and quite expensive. Shame as it’s in a lovely spot, but don’t think we will have anything there again.

Really nice small tea room.Small portions but tasty and fresh wraps etc.Sadly they close at 5 :(If they left this place open in the evenings until about 7:30 at least they will make more money.

A pleasant little shop with an outdoor seating area selling dairy free ice-cream and hot drinks. Make sure you try their banofee cake - it is delicious.

Lovely cafe, great menu. Staff friendly and helpful. Fab views over Kippford.
