The Crown Hotel - Knights Restaurant in Dumfries & Galloway

Great surroundings - super food - staff brilliant - everywhere spotless. Had a great stay and hope to come back again 👍

Went there for early evening dinner. Service was first class along with the excellent food. Cater for gluten free and Vegan. Perfect. Definitely worth visiting. Would go back if in the area.

First time in this establishment and found the staff friendly and helpful, the menu had a good choice, one of our party is a gluten free vegetarian and had no problems getting a meal as they have separate menus for customers with dietary requirements.

Went to the Crown Hotel for a meal and as ever the staff are really friendly and attentive.A good varied menu, which was appetising and delicious. For me, the restaurant has a good atmosphere.

A great place to say at a good price. The staff were really friending and proved a warm welcome on arrival. Due to a cancellation earlier I even got a room upgrade:-)The room was clean, tide and well presented.A full breakfast in the morning was superb as freshly cooked so set me up ready for a long journey ahead. Will definitely be staying there again.

What a fantastic little place. The room was clean, tidy and warm. The staff were very friendly, helpful and welcoming. I didn't have an evening meal but did have the breakfast, the food and coffee were good quality and there was everything you would want for breakfast. A pint of beer was a little expensive but that could just be me out of date on beer prices in pubs, however a great pint none the less. I would recommend the hotel. Thanks

Pleasantly surprised at the size of the Restaurant and it's nice decor (it just looks like a regular Pub/Hotel from the main road 🙂)Food is nice and has a good variety to suit all tastes, Service is good.Only down side is they don't serve food very late (finishes serving around 8:30pm) so it can get busy, I'd recommend trying to reserve a table 👍Price is pretty reasonable too

I had a meal here with my daughter and her partner, they stayed in the hotel overnight and were very happy with it. My food was very good, the staff efficient and pleasant. I would recommend the hotel.

Had a lovely Sunday carvery on13 march. The dining room is bright and airy, the staff attentive and friendly. The best dessert I have had in a long time, thoroughly recommend.

From the moment we arrived to the moment we left, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The room was absolutely spotless. Comfy bed, lovely and warm, pet friendly. The breakfast was spot on. The Christmas dinner was superb. The staff are absolutely amazing, so friendly and welcoming. We only live 20 miles away from this hotel and decided to stay here for a Christmas treat. Even though we stay close by we would definitely come and stay here again at a time other than Christmas, that's how much we enjoyed ourselves. Well done to all who work in the Crown.
