The Gretna Inn in Dumfries & Galloway

I stayed for a night in Gretna on business and arrived just before they were due to stop serving food. Staff were very friendly and accommodating despite me showing up just before closing time. Food was excellent and very reasonably priced. Lovely pint of Bud as well. Would definitely return

Loved staying here. So dog friendly, lovely staff. Fish and chips were fantastic. Room was a wee bit cramped but very clean.

Excellent value for money. The food was lovely and the staff were so friendly and welcoming. We had two dogs with us and they were made so welcome and fussed over. Would definitely go again

We visited here whilst shopping in the outlet centre. Great friendly service and amazing steak pie, the pastry was so light. It was reasonably priced too. We will be back.

Gorgeous pub for a quick bite to eat before a little retail therapy. Staff very pleasant, prices reasonable and food is great pub grub. Pretty on outside, nice but basic on inside. We liked it.

A decent venue.The place is in a great location for passing trade and locals alike.The food was great, portions really good, piping hot where required and a varied choice. Full meals or light lunches.The staff were very compliant with the Covid regulations including wearing face coverings as were the customers.The decor could do with a bit of an update, especially the toilets, however, all were very clean and ample hot/cold water, soap, dryers and sanitisers.Overall, this is a very decent venue.

Very nice. I took my mum and her friend. They don't eat a lot but they did half portions no problem. Pub grub but very nice. Wouldn't go anywhere else when in gretna. Woman said its been a bit quiet lately. If your doing some Christmas shopping pop in don't think you would be disappointed. Sticky toffee pudding delicious.

Great little find next to the outlet shopping.Massive portions of good wholesome pub food. Crispy beef starter (pictured) was as good, if not better than most Chinese takeaway.Staff were friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed.Width a visit if you are crossing the border!

Was in today with my mum and grandmother for lunch. We hadn't booked and were accommodated quickly although they were very busy.Great choice on both the main menu and light bites menu. Fantastic food, great portion sizes and really good value for money.The staff were very attentive and one of the service staff (unfortunately we never got her name) went above and beyond to make our visit extra special. Fantastic "suprise" with my drink.
