Food was really nice. Starter served to the table, chicken and vegetable pakora, buffee had a nice selection of 9 mains, 3 mild, 3 medium, 3 hot, 5 different types of rice. Staff were friendly and helpful, they brought over separate dishes for the vegetarian on our table. Price was OK. Service was excellent. And the place looks amazing and very clean. Pudding was a chocolate cake.

food excellent, very friendly staff, eaten in many Indian restaurants due to working away and this is up there.see alot off people complaining about the prices, don't have a problem with business owners and there workers earning a little extra when food and staff are serving very good food.will defo be back.

Food was really nice cant really fault the food to be honest..but when we got the bill it seemed to be alot more expensive that i thought it would be. Decided to check the prices of the menu online and turns out they added charges on my bill which was £10+ more than what i should of paid. Naughty

If you have enjoyed the Indian food in Delhi, Bangalore, Mumbai, Lucknow and especially the Punjab region then definitely you will think twice to go. I will not recommend it.It's not a complaint but a suggestion to management which I would like to type here.1. WastageThough you provide 4-5 kinds of Chutneys, it's absolutely a wastage. Your variety of chutney is very dull and does not match with the recipes you serve. If you claim that you are the Taste of Punjab then win your customer's hearts by traditional “Mint, ginger, garlic, coriander and chilly chutney”. Be Authentic.2. Food QualityMix tikka plater was horrible. It was not fresh and was disappointing. The the mushroom was stinking. It was Market meat just you guys fried it.3. Food TasteWe ordered Dal Tarka, Lamb curry(Lahori style) but it was like sweet corn soup. Dal was overcooked and interestingly it was not a recipe of Dal Tarka. It was excess sugar in dal and lamb which is an old trick to serve non-Asian customers (especially European and American)I burnt my money. Not goodYou served the best roti in the town. Congrats.4. Weird recipeCheese Nan. Crazy. I was almost faint. I5. ServiceIt was a fantastic service.6. Ambiance.Fantastic.7. Sitting arrangement. It was lavish. Congrats.Thanks.

We are avid curry eaters and we had a night in dumfries on thursday so decided to give this place a go. Will admit was a little cautious after some of the reviews but honestly i could not fault the food / service. I am quite "picky" and asked them to make up my rice to a specific mix that i have at home in my local Indian restaurant- no issue what so ever in fact probably better than my usual one eek ....Anyone wants a good tasty indian meal in a nice relaxing environment then look no further. If im ever back in dumfries ill definately be returning

Small portions, Tandoori mix grill, with one small prawn, half a kebab, 2 chicken tikka, 2 lamb tikka and a chicken breast on the bone, when complained management said only comes with one prawn and half a kebab. Tasty but not worth the money. Table next to me had 4 pieces of chicken in his curry. Stingy owners.

First was in this restaurant a few years ago and really enjoyed our meal however tonight was a totally different experience .Food was bland !we ordered the chicken tandoori & chicken tikka which lacked any depth of spice or flavour.I've actually made better at home .The resturant is stunning but the food needs to be brought upto scratch for it to be a good restaurant .when eating in an Indian restaurant you expect spicy tasty food but tonight's meal lacked in both departments .its perhaps time to sample your own food and you will see what I mean!
