Over priced...chips ant that great more soggy...wont be back. 1 sausage n chips £3.80..kinda disgusting ..oil they use not right ...avoid

The Ivy Leaf Chicken Bar is a fish and chips takeaway. It's a favourite when we are on holiday In Stranraer,the sausage and chips are lovely and the staff are very friendly and chatty. Would recommend if you're in town.

I got a chicken nugget supper from here, it was soaking in grease & clearly not drained properly, my partner got a sausage supper & this was the same. We never ate it & binned it.The staff were bickering behind the counter, not acting in a professional manner, one of them saying to the other “I could get you the sack”. This is shocking to act in this manner, I will definetly not be here again. As for the food it was seriously below par 🙈

Went for a fish supper last week. Waited an age for it to be cooked, but didn't mind that too much as we knew it would all be fresh. Although the chips were lovely, the fish batter was heavy, greasy as hell and tasted like fair ground donuts. Really disappointed.

Best fish supper in town. Only problem is consistency with the chips. Sometimes they are amazing and others they are not

GREAT CHICKEN SUPPER AND A SIDE OF ONION RINGS. STAFF WERE VERY FRIENDLY (A COUNCILLOR,) no less. RECOMMENDED 😀
