The Paul Jones Hotel in Dumfries & Galloway

Came in to eat 2 nights in a row while on the caravan park by the Paul Jones. Staff were very helpful and friendly, nice drinks selection and then the food which was phenomenal. Cannot find fault at all and best of all they even welcomed our little fur babies in too. Will definitely be returning and anyone in the area should come here.

We had a meal here over the weekend & it did not disappoint. Right from the share platter to the main we really enjoyed our food. Staff nice, bar clean & tidy.

Didn't book a table as we were staying at southerness caravan park, it was busy but they managed to squeeze us in, the food was tasty traditional pub grub, reasonably priced, a great pub in my opinion

Lovely little pub and restaurant. Staying in the park dean we ventured down for dinner. Really nice food all homemade and staff very friendly.

We found the Paul Jones via Happy Cow and very impressed with the generous vegan options.Portions are generous and the prices more than reasonable. We did visit a few times over the week and tried most of the menu. Everything is very tasty and the kids especially enjoyed the wonderful desserts.The only things that could improve the experience is the option of veggie chips, brown rice and not so spicy options for the kids, please.We will definitely be back.

Dropped in for a bar meal while visiting the area and glad we did. Had breaded chicken breast strips with chips in a basket. Really filling, tasty and well priced. In fact we called back again at the end of the week for the same meal.On the 2nd visit we were placed into the family room which was unfortunately a little too noisy for us. Not because of children but adults shouting across their table.Staff were very pleasant, helpful and quick to serve.

We didn't stop here at the Hotel but we did stop for the Food, We got a Good Warm welcome here of the Staff was really happy to be here, the Food was lovely hot And the desserts are unbelievable. food was delivered to us in a good time. was even happy to come back again for the 2nd time and still the Great warm welcome service was happy to Tip them as well. only 2 min walk to the beach
