The Powfoot Golf Hotel Restaurant in Dumfries & Galloway

Hotel is lovely the rooms are very spacious.We stayed for a wedding using the hotel as a base and cannot fault the staff, the location, anything it was amazing.Truly relaxing place highly recommended for an overnight or a long weekend.Very family friendly too

We didn't stay here, we went for afternoon tea which was absolutely gorgeous! All homemade and they even do a gluten free spread which was perfect. View is amazing too as we were in the lounge. Staff were very friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. Very cheap as well compared to other places I have been before too! Definitely be going back there soon.

Stunning setting for this hotel on the banks of the Solway Firth with amazing views across to the Lake District. Lovely staff. Very clean well run hotel with lovely restaurant, the Del Amitri.

Stayed for 2 nights and had an enjoyable time, brilliant location, great views. Staff wonderful. Breakfast delicious and plenty of choice. Evening menu tapas style were very small portions for the price, not so impressed. Decided to eat out the following evening

Stopped in for afternoon coffee, staff are lovely and super friendly, coffee was great. Although we didn't eat the food we saw served looked very nice indeed, we'll be back

What a fabulous restaurant ,food and service was amazing,and this was at night when we couldn’t enjoy the amazing views.Big thanks to the lovely receptionist Bella,who,offered to drive us back to,our Airbnb when no taxi drivers were available,we will most definitely return

We went here to have a meal to Celebrate out 40th Wedding Anniversary. Lovely atmosphere great food. Staff were very attentive.. Would definitely recommend.

Dropped by for tea and scones which was delicious. The staff are absolutely wonderful but a special mention to the staff member with a son called Cooper who was an absolute delight and a massive asset to the company she has a brilliant personality and fantastic communication skills.

Has been staying in this hotel a couple of times. Each visit were very well welcome by the staffs. Room services were great. And morning breakfast was wonderful too. I loves the cleanliness with they care about. Evening food in tge restaurant were amazing well planned. Highly recommended if anyone were to go to Dumfries for holiday ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐❤👍
