Had an absolutely lovely Christmas dinner today can't thank the staff enough superb 😀

We stayed at this Hotel a few years back and it was lovely returned a week ago and was so disappointed. When i called i was told cost would be £70 i said that was fine, when we arrived 10.30pm was asked to pay cash for room right away my husband asked for 2 drinks and before they were in the glass again we were asked for cash, we were shown to room my husband asked what time breakfast was only to be told they only do breakfast on Sunday mornings and there were places on high street who served breskfasts. Very disappointed on cleanliness of room so much so I wouldn't have a shower. The staff themselves were nice & helpful but to be honest if it was not so late at night i would have asked for money back & gone elsewhere.

Very friendly and helpfull staff. Dinner was delicious and breakfast tasty. Very steep stairs and disco didn't bother but whatever Dj playd I didn't recognise songs. But I guess had expected to hear 70's and 80's tunes.

Nice place to go and have a drink..dog friendly so always a bonus..staff very friendly and on hand when needed..didn't have anything to eat there can't comment on the food..👍

Excellent service, friendly helpful Pleasant staff. All the young local people in the pool room chatted to us so pleasant, never heard any swearing. Credit to a very well run pub. Will definitely come back here. Top beer too. From 60 year olds who enjoyed their company.

Had a lovely relaxing time, beautiful location and friendly staff. Small private beer garden which was cosy, and the service was great. We will be visiting again, thank you 😊
