Absolutely stunning location the view on a sunny day is fantastic but unfortunately we had a bar meal which was way below standard we noticed the good food awards on display but the two meals we were served were not very good one was a chicken curry pie which was all pastry and very little tasteless filling ,there is plenty to like about this establishment the staff are very friendly and the location is superb but the food needs to improve greatly

Lovely place to stop and have a drink. We sat outside because the weather was great. Friendly service and we had the fish and chips for lunch, which was excellent.

Just been for a combined Christmas Birthday night out: really good food, great staff, nothing too much of a problem. We're fairly regular and will be going again.

Been here many times and the food is usually top notch especially the fish and chips. I ordered the steak pie, I'm sorry to say that it was very dry and bland so I asked for more gravy and was charged £1 for a tiny jug with what must have been half a teaspoon of gravy mix so very watery. Like I said this place is usually great so I will return but not for the steak pie.

Visited on Saturday with family & friends for a little girls birthday dinner. Food was great, staff were attentive & we really enjoyed the atmosphere & food. Liked the fact you put hand sanitizer on the tables too.The profiteroles were really enjoyed by each of us that had them. Will visit again.

Brilliant location, outside dining in the sunshine. Very interesting interior decor. Good food good service great local beers at a decent price and dog friendly, what's not to like

Fab food. Great and very welcoming staff. Atmospheric, great Seaview setting. Both my son and I visited for the first time and new to the area. He had the steak pie and I had the chicken parmesan. Wow 👏cooked to perfection. We had the breadboard as a starter and didn't realise how filling it was. Well done Steamboat Inn. Don't change anything 100% spot on. They also went the extra mile as initially we were in the back dining room and the fire was lit just for us then we moved into the front bar area. One last thing. Looking at all the artifacts in this brilliant pub keeps you entertained.

Nice place, will be lovely in the nice weather. Food was good, staff friendly. Only down side was normally when you stay over in a motor home you either pay for staying or have a meal and drinks, but we paid for staying and for a meal and drinks, never had to do that before . Lovely otherwise.

Well tucked away from the main roads but worth taking time to find. Good choice of menu and although we called at a busy time the service was very prompt and efficient. Meals came out quickly and all were delicious.Six of us stopped off here en route to a holiday stay and would definitely return.

Amazing meal as always. We always make a point to visit The Steamboat each time we are in the area on holiday. Each time the food is always phenomenal and delivers on taste and presentation. I was slightly disappointed that fajitas were not on the menu for this visit, they have, in the past, been the best I have ever tasted. However, I can highly recommend the Sweet Potato, chickpea and spinach curry and Belgian chocolate cheesecake. My son said the macaroni was the best he had ever tasted (and he has tasted an abundance of macaroni over the years!) and requested we ask for their recipe to recreate the macaroni! Service is always friendly and efficient.
