Top Chippy in Dumfries & Galloway

I'll never be back was miles over priced, rubbish service and generally not very good food, used to be the best chippy in town

Breaded fish supper is top tier, I have worked all over the UK and I have certainly never had a better breaded fish supper.

Never again, my wife was going to the Palmerston cafe for a takeaway and foolishly listened to her work mates who told her to try here. The result is 3/4 of a fish, yes a 1/4 of it is missing and to add insult to injury there is dried fruit in the curry sauce, absolutely vile take away.........NEVER AGAIN>

Wasn't keen on macaroni, wasn't very saucy. As always though everything else was great!

Average at best. Quick service on a busy Saturday so that was good..however soggy barely cooked chips and soggy yet over cooked fish... I got through most as was starving but otherwise would have binned it

Pricey ! £4:10 for a large chips ( it's really not that large ) is ridiculous £2:10 for a standard chips which equates to one scoop. The food is of reasonable quality the cooking everything to order is tedious waiting 15 mins for a battered sausage and chips takes the Mick.

Always been a favourite place to visit. Nice large piece of Fish. Cooked to perfection. Will I visit again. YES.
