Called in on my way home to Manchester the staff were very keen to please us and the food eas very good be calling in again

Lovely place well worth a visit. The cakes were delicious

Very basic (no customer WC). Decor is like stepping back into the 1950's - and not in a good way. Generally disinterested staff. Only stopped for coffee/cake but the tray bake was slightly stale. Only plus was that it was relatively cheap but I will not be returning.

Food was okay. Water was served in polystyrene cups. Staff were lovely just very quick to remind us often about their table sharing policy and not having a loo.

Second visit to tea room while I'm back in Scotland just love love love the homemade soup broccoli and Stilton Yummy!

Fantastic place, the owner is second to none, great lunch dishes, the cakes are just like a heaven

Really friendly, efficient service. Great value, generous portions, freshly made sandwiches and home cooking. Proper leaf tea in a teapot with a strainer.

Having been walking in the area, we went into Truly Scrumptious. It was well worth the visit. Cake was delicious and the service was great. Thank you.
