Warm and approachable customer service. Explained that I wanted a gin I wasn't going to find back in England. Was recommend a bottle of Selkirk gin and it is wonderful, thank you!

The sign at the door instructs you to wear a mask upon entering this establishment, which you should anyway and I did.Unfortunately once inside the proprietor was not wearing a mask and proceeded to cough without putting his hand to his mouth. He followed this up by blowing his nose!I sharply retreated never to set foot in this place again.Hypocrite, amongst other names, spring to mind.

Popped in for α coffee and α cake. It was the first time I'd been and looks are deceiving as they have α decent sized cafe through the back of the wine shop. I had α buggy and the seats are well spaced out so there was plenty of room to be comfortable. I ordered α coffee and the lemon drizzle cake which was big. I thought it was α take half home sized slice but greed got the better of me and I finished it there and then. The service was fast and friendly. Didn't get α chance to look properly at the wines and gins but I will be back as I noticed they stock α particular gin brand I like.

Good place. Had lunch here today. Excellent range of wines, too.

We called in twice on consecutive days sitting outside on a warm sunny day and indoors on a cool breezy day. Sitting inside was indeed a cold, draughty experience because of the necessity of providing plenty of air for Covid-19 prevention. But the coffee, scones and tray bakes were all lovely. Friendly staff and an amazing and extensive selection of wines, whiskies and other spirits make this a must visit location. Dogs are welcomed indoors.

Lovely lunch yesterday. Very helpful, no problem accommodating my daughter's wheelchair at a table. Will return and look forward to a browse around the shop at the spirits and wines.

Not just a cafe but a WINE SHOP! All my dreams come true! A big thanks to all who work there. Great quality food and service and fantastic knowledge about wine. Well worth a stop!
