Great cosy atmosphere. The staff was very friendly and the food was very good (vegetarian options as well).

Attractive restaurant and bar. Interesting menu featuring local produce from both sides of the Border, well prepared and delicious. Good service. What's not to like?

The food was second to none. Service excellent, nicely decorated. I got the seafood platter and my husband got the land platter, both were absolutely delicious.

Four of us stopped here for tea after a day out at the coast. Very welcoming. All the staff were friendly and very helpful. Beautiful meals. Two of us had the haddock & chips, one the belly pork and one the steak. All of them were top quality. We tried two of the puddings; the chocolate tart and the rhubarb and orange sponge. Beautiful! All in all a great meal and would recommend without any reservations. Thank you to all the staff there.

I came here a few months and have been meaning to write a review. Stayed with my partner and the bed was really comfortable. The shampoo was lovely, so much so I ordered the shampoo when I came home! Their food was delicious and loved their dinner especially. Will come back again, as really lovely family owned business

We ate here on a busy Saturday night.I was impressed by the menu which has a number of unusual dishes, it certainly isn't a case of standard pub fare i.e steak & ale pie, only. Excellent food at reasonable prices.I enjoyed the pigeon breast main.There's a large garden at the rear with lots of seating and great views.

Very delicious meal this evening. Exemplary service - not rushed or fussed over, but we never had to wait long for anything - perfect! It would have been 5 stars but it was fairly pricey, but not overpriced for the fantastic quality and local produce.
