Bangladeshi Tandoori Restaurant in Scottish Borders

Outstanding quality, very fast service and very friendly staff. Definitely the best Indian restaurant in Scotland at the very least!

Awesome food wverytime and a fab atmosphere

Really great food, all fresh and made exactly how we asked for it. Couldn’t spit butter chicken on the menu but they made it up for me anyway. Have to say despite being really busy they managed to fit us in. Service was simply great and they kept us updated on when the food would be ready. Top!

Service was poor had to ask numerous times for glasses of water and ice. The only time you saw any staff was when they were serving a table which took forever. It took 2 hours from ordering our meal to be served. Obviously take - away food was the priority. Very disappointing.

We regularly use this restaurant for eat in and take away. Quality of take away is exactly same as in restaurantGorgeous Indian food, lovely helpful staff, have never been disappointed

Disgusted ordered food 630 pm tonight hasnt even been made yet shouldnt take orders if your that busy ruined our night never mind blaming just eat either!!!!!

Ordered a takeaway early in the day to get the 6pm delivery slot as we had guests but the food didnt arrive untill 6.55pm which isnt the best service, the food was great as always maybe could have been hotter bjt still tasty

Been to Zaika Galashiels a few times now. The staff are first class and provide a very very good service. ziaka is by far the best all round Indian restaurant we have ate in. The mixed grill is Delilah… Never left disappointed and all very worthy of 5 stars + review.

Although off the main high street, this is a beautiful Indian that is highly recommended. Though the setting/decor inside was a bit average with no much atmosphere, the menu was one of the most diverse I’ve seen of an Indian and the food out of this world. The mango chicken, coconut rice was spot on. Coming from London, this should be high praise for the quaint place.

Was dissapointed after reading positive reviews and having such a bad experience. Ordered for delivery, which arrived late. On the menu it told us to put which naan we wanted in the comments, comments were clearly ignored as the naan wasn't sent with the order. Onion bhajis were overcooked and dry. I had the vegi korma and towards the end of my meal I noticed something hard and unchewable in a mouthful, turns out it was some packaging, seems to be cardboard with foil, maybe the edge of a milk carton? I Attached a picture, your guess is as good as mine.
